He did enough to get a fight with Lewis, but I won’t go so as to recognize Akinwande as a champ. He makes John Ruiz look like Joe Louis.

King was paving the road for Akinwande to get a shot with Ruiz or Byrd, but he screwed that up by getting knocked out.

I agree. Michael Grant's pro career spanned 23 years, and apparently everyone agrees he was damaged goods after year 5. (LOL)

Henry Akinwande fought for 19 years, and he didn't lose his third fight until his 17th year as a pro when he was 53 fights in and 41 years old. And it was a road split decision in Germany against the promoter's rising prospect.

Grant couldn't get past the Dominick Guinn "level." Enough said.

Akinwande cleans his clock. It ends when Grant gets tired of getting off the floor and he just stays there.

Well, he danced better with Lewis than Grant I'll give you that. Akinwande musta thought he was in "Dancing with the Stars" and couldn't work out why there was no music. Or maybe he just wanted to feel up Lewis' big sweaty biceps. Grant did beat Gonzalez who according to Dino is just like Vitali Klitschko so there's that.

Dude you sound kinda invested in this. Maybe get an ice cream or something and cool down.

But that’s the whole point, we are talking who done better against Lewis not his other wins loses

No, we're talking about who was the better fighter - Akinwande or Grant. Not who performed better in one fight.

We hear lot of stories about boxers with a lot of losses because they fought a ton of fights outside their home countries and got robbed when the fights were close, or even if they weren't.

Akinwande spent the majority of his career fighting on foreign soil, and you could argue he got robbed once in his 40s, because he was such an outright winner nearly every night.

Grant started fast, turned into a head case, and seemed to get worse the last three-fourths of his career. It was like watching Evel Knievel crash in slow motion at Caesars Palace. Just a long slow brutal fall that took years. He was really only good for a brief period compared to the length of his career.

No, the point was who done better v Lewis, one got sparked the other one was to scared to fight, not their overall careers
