It's surely odd, even suspicious that he didn't take his gloves off after select fights. I don't see any reason why a fighter wouldn't have his gloves removed in the ring after the match. How common is this in general? Are there other examples of fighters not taking their gloves off in the ring after a match?

The evidence against Froch using loaded gloves is very strong.

If you think to Luis Resto and his loaded gloves vs Billy Collins Jr. You will know if loaded gloves are used a corner picks up on it and demands the gloves are torn off and inspected post fight.

Word gets around if there is suspicion, to inspect your gloves before fights in the changing rooms. As well as watch your hands being wrapped. This happened to Margarito.

If Froch had fought with loaded gloves he would have got caught.

I agree that those early stoppages were complete BS. But was it just an over anxious referee?

    Strong circumstantial evidence.

But if he was loading then surely the corner of the opponent would have demanded he take the gloves off to be inspected?

That would have got out and then every opponent would have asked to inspect his wraps
    Prior to every fight.

I mean it definitely makes you think that maybe there's something to it, when you see him keeping his gloves on in the post fight interview in select matches. And how he proposed to his fiance the ring with his gloves still on.

At the same time, as odd as all of that is, it doesn't prove anything by itself. And there's still the pre-fight inspection. If there was anything wrong with the wraps, it would or should have been caught there in the pre-fight inspection. There's also a lot of speculation when it comes to what's allowed and what isn't on a hand wrap. It seems that each commission (states or countries) have different rules and strictness about what is allowed and what isn't when it comes to hand wraps.

Is stacking allowed in some commisions but not in others? Is stacking a wrap always an advantage? Could stacking help protect hands better? What about gloves? Do certain gloves give fighters advantages? I've seen matches where one fighter is wearing huge gloves while his opponent is wearing tiny gloves. So there's a lot more to it than just examining a handwrap. It's hard to quantify the advantage without examining the gloves as well. If a glove is too big inside, or it doesn't fit snug, the outside of the glove could end up flapping around when you punch. You know like how Fury's gloves were shown to have that whiplash effect.

So there's a lot of intricacies to handwraps and how they interact with gloves. And it's very hard to make any kind of determinaton even by looking at a handwrap post-fight. But just the fact that he didn't take off the gloves in select matches, does make you wonder if everything was on the up and up. It doesn't prove anything by itself, but it just seems odd that he was giving a post-fight interview with the gloves still on and like no one seemed to notice. In one of those clips he even seemed uncomfortable that the gloves were still on, like his hands were hurting or something.

We may as well throw in Gypsy magic, heavy suits and double agent coaches. There seems to be no proof of anything here.

Froch not taking his gloves off proves 1 thing and 1 thing only, that Froch doesn't take his gloves off.

I'm pretty sure a perfectly timed, flush temple shot, with loaded gloves, would have out and out KO'd Reid, maybe even seriously injured him. To give some kind of comparison, Luis Resto vs Billy Collins Jr was a bout where the padding was removed, but there was no loading. Collins was tough af and still rocked by basically everything that touched him. Margarito, who supposedly loaded, also shook Cotto nearly anytime he touched him too. Watching this bout back, I don't see it, and I wouldn't call Froch a creme puff puncher either. I believe his power was more effective due to the development of his feinting ability, allowing him to land big shots the opponent wasn't prepared for. He does this against Reid, feinting twice with the left shoulder before throwing the right. Add to the fact glove and wrap checking is took very seriously and I can't really envision it. I would also say Reid was past his prime by the Froch fight, too, and had been RTD recently before.

As to you mention about the pre arranged outcome, this is one that wouldn't surprise me at all. Current Boxing is much more corrupt than most want to think about - I mean, guys like Kinahan operate freely in Boxing with no one stopping him, known criminals publicly establishing gyms before etc. People think the IBC era was bad but with the division in Boxing today, I wouldn't be surprised if shady actions were more forceful than ever before. Foster in the first Groves bout was also very suspicious imo. As it stands, though, there isn't really any evidence to point this out as pre arranged. Ottke vs Reid was much more blatant with corruption, and Ottke is one who should be focused on, not Froch.

Also, your point about not removing the gloves was interesting. I know what you mean, usually your trainer gets the gloves removed promptly. Maybe you could make a compilation?

I'm not saying that he had loaded gloves for all of his fights, or that they were all fixed.

I know that the Reid fight was fixed though, which is why I believe Rubin's allegations about Froch. I do also believe he tampered with gloves.

There is a compliment on this video mate. Fights he had where he took them off after and didn't.

Personally I believe he has probably tried this in all his fights and just done it in the ones he managed to get away with it.

There is a theory about eddie hearn fighters mysteriously gaining punching power in some of their fights, i've heard he intimidates and bribes people backstage when asking to see the gloves being wrapped. Again just a theory i've heard from different brits on youtube, but it is odd that some of his fighters seem to find savage punching power late in their careers out of nowhere.

I'm neither accepting or dismissing the claims you've made but I'm surely sure that there are watchdog type organisations who monitor betting and any irregular patterns. If it was widely known beforehand that Reid was going to take a dive in the 5th round and numerous people put bets on it wouldn't we have heard about it ??

One more thing : the clip at 2.47 should not be taken seriously - Ruben Grobenwald is an absolute nutter, a total headcase. I know someone personally who spent time with Grobenwald when he came over to Belfast in the early 2000's to train and told me all about him, the guy's an absolute nutjob.

I'm not going to speak specifically towards Froch but on a wider note yes a lot of sport is rigged, many sports stars are controlled.. many results are pre determined. Freemasonry & illuminati symbolism in sport is obvious if you know where to look & the signs to look for. A common hand gesture to look out for is the triangle… not just in sport but entertainment etc.. or the one eye club, that #6 hand symbol they make .. A couple of years ago i myself would have laughed at a comment like this but the more i've looked into it the more obvious it becomes. Cognitive dissonance is too much for the normies among us to overcome though. I will say on Froch tho that he was never a bigs sports figure in the UK up until very late in his career therefore he's not one to concentrate on, I don't think there was much skullduggery regarding his career.

    Joshua's an establishment darling though.
