Okay, if he didn't have it he's simply not been training properly, possibly injured. His physique has noticeably diminished in the last 7 months.

Na just someone that has a bit foresight. You,ll be the same guy thats on here complaining when the ppv stops wondering where all the boxing coverage and fights have went to.

But your whole theory rests on the myth that "the fights wouldn't get made without PPV".

Which old days are you talking about ?

Absolute rubbish. Without that additional money the sport never becomes mainstream. Which pretty much means your coverage will be pretty limited. Boxings been stuck in that position for years.

    Jesus

the PPV has stopped for me as I’m not stupid enough to buy them.

maybe, just maybe they might only just put actual PPV worthy fights on PPV?

Though if PPV does I’m sure we can all continue to subscribe (that means paying) to sky sports, BT sport or DAZN.

hell might still watch it on you tube or ch5 for free!

Mainstream behind a pay wall? A paywall where not even the 2 people in the top 5 ever even fight?

But you've already said boxing isn't mainstream, and is a niche sport.
Despite years of PPV and ever-increasing PPVs.
Look how many PPVs Joshua has sold in the last few years, how can boxing still be a niche sport if all that PPV money helps grow the sport ?

How does Whyte fighting Povetkin rematch on PPV rather than regular SKY help grow the sport ?

Thats your own choice to make. Stuck watching the channel 5 boxing. Stuck right back in the position we,ve been in for years not getting enough boxing on tv.

Its a bit like look everyone i m not stupid...i m right back in the position i,ve been complaining about for years. They wont get my 20 quid. "Come on prince patel knock this guy out" on channel 5.

You have nailed exactly what is wrong with Box Office for the chosen few.

Box Office boxing is even more out of sight out of mind for the general population.

The undercard isn't great, but £20 isn't a bad price. I really wanna see this.

The guy that went on to become one of the highest earning british ppv stars.

He was relatively cheap in the early days and sky sports put a bigger budget into sky back then. They dont anymore.
