Or you might wind up w/ Jake LaMotta, or even SRR as a favorite fighter.

Few fighters have a clean slate.

Wow, Kid Gavilan working in Trevors corner as well. I didn’t realize that before

If anybody has not watched this it is not a bad fight and worth checking out...I say that as someone who does not enjoy a lot of HW fights. Round 5 is not epic or anything like it but still a very fun round. 2-5 showcase some decent infighting skills from both guys. Bernice seems to be doing better at forcing the fight inside. Thomas just not able to keep this at range where he is getting the better of it, but he can’t maintain the space.

I got it real close through 7. But 6-7 have slowed down. I feel like in 7 Trevor was actually out jabbing and out pointing for the first minute but Thomas began to win the jab battle in the middle of the round before Berbick went inside and took the round back away. Not a bar burner but more fun than I anticipated. I am pleasantly surprised by this fight.

I have it dead even 4-4 76-76 through 8. Same score as Ledderman although we have 2 rounds the opposite. But Trevor seems to have established control by the end of 8 rounds.

I won’t go that far but I do really like this fight quite a bit. How about scoring it with us? Join in on the fun

I was planning on watching something else. But I watch fights chronologically, and I'm in the late 40s rn. :(

Rounds 5 & 11 are worth watching this fight for alone. But there are some decent rounds here as well

I remember when I watched it it had a slow start, but it seemed like a fast-paced battle from round 4 through 11. 12 was pretty slow; I think they're stamina was out by then.

I found this to be a very close evenly matched fight with not much separating the guys. Punch stats were about and even split for both guys. I don’t see any case for a Thomas verdict and a draw even seems to much....this is weird for a fight separated by a mere 1-2 points on the judges cards and Leddermans.

    RBR
    1 Berbick
    2 Thomas
    3 Thomas
    4 Berbick
    5 Thomas
    6 Thomas
    7 Berbick
    8 Berbick
    9 Berbick
    10 Berbick
    11 Berbick
    12 Thomas
    Berbick 115-113

Pinklon denied that conditioning was a factor but in my mind he lost this fight beginning in round 9. I had it even through 8 as did Ledderman even though we differed on 2 rounds. But Berbick won 9 wide and Thomas seemed dead at he end. 10-11 he just didn’t seem to have anything left, and even 12 which I scored for him he didn’t really step it up like a guy needing a KD or 2 would wanted.

not much separating them at all and to me conditioning is the main factor for Berbicks win.

I don’t think your card is unrealistic. We had a few rounds different and our cards are wider but that does not mean much. The only rounds I scored for Thomas comfortable was 2/6, I gave him 3/5/12 by a slim margin and feel it is justifiable to score them either way.
