i never said it was competitive, i said it wasn't a shutout to the massive majority. Do you disagree?

I'm happy to see Canelo against all and any. He's still writing his story.

Yeah last I read his sister took him to Chicago for better medical treatment. Hope he's doing alright in this crazy covid world.

Benitez all day. Give him 3 months later and he gives FM a boxing lesson.

Benitez by decision. He has the skills to do so but only if he's fully focused on the task at hand and hungry for it - Canelo's no mug. No coincidence that throughout his glory years Wilfred always seemed to do better in the challenger's role (Cervantes,Palomino and Hope) than as the defending champion (Leonard and Hearns) Don't think he'd ever have beaten Leonard no matter what but as a fully fit and focused challenger I'd have given him a 50/50 shot against Tommy Hearns.

I wont say Wilfred by a landslide; that's just not realistic but Wilfred would be well ahead. This fight goes the distance

I had Canelo winning the Lara bout by 1 point. He had massive trouble in this one, and I wasn't impressed with Lara's performance either. I would expect Benitez to figure a 154lb Canelo out relatively quickly and clearly. It would be wider over 15, obviously.

Canelo -6 years his prime and with significant flaws (still very good though) or one of the most talented fighters ever, I'm supporting Wilfred by a massive points win.

I also had Canelo winning the Lara fight....I do find it interesting that most people that say Lara won are Canelo haters lol. I am not a fan of Canelo but I am a fan of good boxing and Canelo is real good. I am not sure what I think of a Canelo Benitez fight other than it would be real close over 12 rounds. Forced to choose I would pick Canelo slim but wouldn’t bet on the fight either way.

I could’ve sworn Benitez drew with Weston, meaning two judges thought he didn’t win.

He did and I believe it was the first fight.
I also believe if memory serves me correct that Canelo drew with GGG in a fight he clearly lost?

I do not recall a fight that Canelo clearly lost other than the Mayweather fight.

I also recall that GGG was a more difficult task than Harold Weston.

Pretty sure Benitez beat Weston years latter.
If you really think Canelo beat GGG the first time that's just you being a fanboy.

Also clearly remember Benitez beating DURAN and knocking out Hope.
Tell me Canelos TWO best wins at Jr.middle.
