I don't think either man would land many significant shots. I think Ali's defense wouldn't be as effective against a guy as rangy and awkward as Fury.

I don't remember Ali ever looking particularly impressive on the front foot.

I think the opposite. I think Fury's unorthodox style would offset Ali's rhythm and make him very uncomfortable. Also I forgot to mention that Fury can also fight in southpaw, which would make it even more awkward for Ali

If Ali could deal with Liston’s jab, I don’t think Fury’s jab would be a problem.

I don't think Fury had a better Jab than Liston, but he does have a good jab, he is longer and taller and his jab is also quicker than Liston's.

I think Liston had a longer reach and a quicker jab than Fury. It was obviously stronger. Ali would turn the slower Fury so easily he could get and out whenever he wanted. Fury only looks quick due to the stiffs he has fought.

Liston does NOT have a longer reach than Fury.

Okay, Fury has an inch on Liston. I don’t think it makes that much of a difference against Ali.

Liston's reach has always been listed as being shorter than Fury's. Also although Fury isn't ridiculously fast, but he is pretty quick especially for a man of his size. I'd definitely say he's faster than Liston

Liston landed his jab against relatively quick opponents. I can’t think of a quick fighter that Fury has faced. Of course all of this is subjective.

Liston doesn't have an 84 inch reach

That's 7 feet from finger tip to finger tip

Liston had wide shoulders and long arms and large hands ... But he doesn't have a 7 foot reach ... I'd suspect it was about 78-80 inches or so

Fury is tall and awkward ... I think he gives Ali problems ...

    It's wrong

Watch and listen to Liston vs Williams

Liston does not have an 84 inch reach ... He was 6 ft tall

Ali, but he'd not look good here at all. Fury's use of multiple feints would make things interesting.
