Great performance by whyte? Are you serious? Povetkin wasn't fit to fight!

Povetkin just looked gone... like seriously... not even on this planet. It was upsetting.

I mean there was something extremely weird about him before he even got in the ring. I know he just "recovered" from Covid and everything, but just literally the way he looked walking to the ring...

... it was almost life he'd just come off a life support machine. He looked like he was on some weird medication.

It's one thing to say he's getting old, but he looked like he wasn't even physically fit to fight. He was losing his balance, barely throwing, no head movement or defence. Barely any energy.

I don't even know if Povetkin should have been passed fit to fight.

This wasn't a good performance by Whyte, Povetkin was in no shape to provide a challenge to anyone.

Literally anyone in the top 20 would have mauled Povetkin tonight. Povetkin had literally nothing. He was clearly not well, and could barely maintain his balance for ****s sake.

How the **** could you give Whyte credit for that? Hughie Fury would have blasted Povetkin out tonight.

Intelligent and accurate post. Wonder what slimy deals were made to ensure Povetkin didn't have more time to recover.

I'm sure Povetkin had about 5-6 pints before hand!

    No surprise at all.
    Looked shot in August.
Looked pretty much shot against Hunter in 2019.
Looked well past it in 2018 against Price.

Had covid a few months ago. Was hospitalised twice.
    Is 41 years old.
Looked sick at weigh in one day ago.

Old, shot, sick, old shot old man.

Thought he looked good until this fight myself. Definitely on the decline from the Joshua fight but still a quality operator. The difference between fight one and this is unbelievable. Stay safe, wear a mask.

Povetkin looked like his balance was not right from the start.

Would have ****ing blasted him out with those body shots m8.

At least Hatton's body shots would have landed unlike Whytes ridiculous 1st round wind mills.

It's funny the only reason Povetkin didn't get KO'd immediately is because of Whyte being crap.

In the first fight Povetkin had been losing until he landed one of the best uppercut i've ever seen. Povetkin passed his prime days 3-5 years ago. It is also strange, but Kipra (Povetkin's trainer ) wasn't in Povetkin's corner during the fight.

But at least in the first fight Povetkin had some energy. He was throwing a considerable amount and at least doing some damage and not losing his balance so easily.

Whyte was clearly in control last fight but it was at least somewhat Competitive.

This time Povetkin looked like he had nothing left. It was sad. Hopefully he'll get some money for it thought and retire.

Fans were cheated. Povetkin maybe needed a year to recover from his covid hospitalisation. That's 6 months of complete rest and and another 6 months of gradual training, at 41 that was never happening so they took a nice retirement check from Hearn.

He looked wobbly and half asleep walking into the ring, and was stumbling around during the first round without even being hit with anything.

You are 100% correct, for whatever reason, there was something wrong with him tonight, he was a dead man walking.
