With Fury saying he will never fight in the UK again and pretty much being a Top Rank Fighter, with DDD and Yarde picking up losses and Willie Hutchinson getting iced last night are Queensbury finished? Joe Joyce is coming to the end of his career and Dennis McCann is at the start of his journey. Do you think Frank is will turn it around or do you think he is as good as done?
They can rubuild dubois with mcann on all his cards too. They have Callim Johnson but we all kmow Frank wont go quietly. BT on the otherhand i wouldnt be suprised if they get out after the Fury AJ fight
He will never return to his glory days but he can improve vastly from this, he has a few youngsters that could come good yet, let's see.
His prospects have been badly managed. Getting fed puddings getting world ranking without fighting at British level. Thinking their world class when in reality they are British level at best.
Anyone else think that the prospects on the MTK shows are better than Warren's? Warren needs to improve his matchmaking and take a leaf out of Mick Hennessey's book.
A loss doesn’t mean the end of the world! Frank has still got decent talent and prospects regardless whether theyve lost.
I cannot imagine BT are happy but from their end the promo stuff they have been running with McCann and Hutchinson etc is cringeworthy. Both FW and BT are levels and levels below Sky / Matchroom. But FW always finds a way.
Mick almost lost his house. I m not sure frank will take that advice. Who,s paying for frank to invest in decent fights for his fighters.
It’s a tough one as based on the quality of the shows and cards Frank puts on I have a feeling they are paying low rights fees and therefore habit just to have some decent live shows on there. I genuinely think if someone put their mind to it Queensbury are there for the taking. If a new promoter came together with the right connections and fighters they could take that contract off Frank. The Way they promote their shows are so old school which is great but it’s a different game now and BT need a channel with the right method to promote shows. I would have liked to have seen the Sauerlands really try and build a stable in the UK. I think they promote very well and both funny characters. Would also have been more likely to see big fights between promoters given their relationship to Matchroom
He'll always be two steps behind the double glazed window salesman that is Eddie Hearn. He was behind on stadium fights a few years back, he was behind on using social media for himself and his fighters, he was behind on being transparent with the fighters like Eddie somewhat is. He's behind on gauging what the fans really want and he's behind on selling his shows. It's no shame in constantly losing to the shyster that is Eddie. He just needs to accept he's 2nd best in the UK.
No they have a big stable but they will have to have a shake up now over which headliners and prospects they focus and invest the most on. I'd imagine Liam Williams, Sunny Edwards, Dennis Mccann, Zach Parker, Lyndon Arthur are gonna be at the forefront now and they're gonna showcase Mark Chamberlain and Sam Noakes.
I see Queensbury Promotions are still on the Frampton v Herring poster...surely they are not involved? Frank hasnt said a word about it since it was rescheduled to Dubai and it's no longer on BT.
