This has been debated endlessly. You could be right (except you rounded down Liston's height, the opposite of what folks do usually), but having a very wide chest & huge hands means it is possible. The longest "ape factors are 11" (wingspan more than height), & one guy is even longer... Anyway you can argue who would win either way. But I o not think Fury's greater size would make it near impossible for the quicker more agile Ali to land & move in & out. Also Ali adapted very well, even on the fly. He would not at all be married to not going to the body if that made it much easier to score on such a large target. he even went ownstairs in his brief dazzling fight with Williams.
Fury has not met a fighter of Ali’s quality by a long shot- Ali however made a career off beating some of the best HWs ever. Give Tyson time.

They all copy one another You'll find varying reach measurements for boxers all the time I've seen a graphic that stated Ali had an 84 inch reach, which is ridiculous Ali looked 3 inches taller than Liston which would put Liston at 6 foot, maybe slightly over 6 foot
Why don’t you cite a source, other than your opinion, that says Liston’s reach was less than 84 inches since all these other sources are wrong?

Not at all a Fury fan, but it's pretty obvious if Clay were to lay on the ropes and test Furys punches with his jaw like he did for most of his post 1970 career, he would get flattened. Of course the elites would make EVERY excuse in the book for him, and refuse to give Fury any credit for the W... Option 2 Clay goes out there and tries to put on a boxing masterpiece....I guess, sure it's possible. Fury is a big target, but if it's against Sugar Hill Fury who actually comes forward, let's his hands go, and leans all over his opponent, I see a very long night for Clay. I have watched all of Clays fight that exist on film. He was special indeed, but I have never seen this untouchable, walks on water fighter everyone claims him to be
Fury couldn’t hit Ali if he threw a fistful of rice at him. lol at this “Sugar Hill Fury”. In other times, Fury would barely be a contender. Fury is only relevant in these times of mediocre heavyweights.

Have you met him before? I met him once and found him to be a decent fellow. As for Mayweather or Broner, the only thing they ever stood for was theirselves and to compare them to Ali is laughable. I was in S.E. Asia in the military from 1968 - 1971 and I have nothing but admiration for Ali for the stance that he took against the war.
