Where did this feud between boxing and MMA come from? You never see baseball players say tennis isn't a real sport, or LeBron say football is for people who can't play basketball.
Because they are fighting sports and boxing fans still get funny when someone says an MMA fighter could beat a boxer.
In a boxing match or in a real fight? I think even Floyd knows any ranked UFC featherweight would wipe the floor with him in a real fight.
Because of Dana White. He started taking aim at boxing. Obviously, there was going to be a backlash. Boxing fans and kick boxing fans never had beef with each other.
Ah, It's easier if you can look it up. But he had a lot of negative things to say about boxing, when he took over the UFC. Basically, he put boxing in a bad light, to promote the UFC.
The boxing world does not care about MMA, never has and never will. It was MMA fans and fighters who started the beef with boxing not the other way around.
Agreed. Floyd's style is the worst you could use in an MMA fight. Funny how Floyd's biggest payday came from an MMA fighter...
