In some ways Carnera was better then Ali-

    Not a dig at Ali, just something to note someone we can perceive as absolutely inferior has there redeeming qualities.

    I would say he had a more applicable left hook and a superior inside game, a much more textbook upper cut and a good right hook (uncommonly used punch indeed) he also happened to be monstrously strong, taller and a lot heavier being mostly comprised of muscle.

    Just something to think about not every boxer is perfect and Carnera for all his faults was still a HW champion a real natural in all but mentality who took a crash course on how to box and won the greatest title in sports history with half a mind to not even fight it’s a real Rocky story I think he deserves a movie.

    In certain eras the fact that Carnera was white would have made him better than Ali too, colour line and all that.

    I don’t mind Italians but I dont like so called Italian Americans especially ones who can’t even speak a word of Italian and ain’t ever even set foot out of their home state.

    You do realize Italian is both a language and an ethnicity? If both your parents are Italian it doesn't matter what language you speak or if you never leave the state you're in. Genetically you are Italian.
