I didn't put words in his mouth. Frazier did in fact say that he believed Ali should have went to war in Vietnam for the same country that enslaved their ancestors. if your sitting comfortably El Gallo I shall begin, once upon a time there was a country called America ( founded by Christer Columbus ) and in that country lived people that were called Native Americans they are called indigenous ( or Indians for short ) there were no black Africans in this rather baron country until around 1620 when 2 English ships bought 20 or so black men from African countries ( are you still with me ) these rather unfortunate souls ( and 8.5 million others ) were then sold into slavery, to mainly white rich plantation owners, one such plantation owner was called Green Clay ( who had a son called Cassius Marcellus Clay ) now these poor slaves were not allowed to go by their birth name, but rather the name of their owner, so the name clay was that of rich white man, and not the fighters ancestors.
