He is ready. Has been for years. Problem is that everyone is terrified of him and its a lose:lose situation facing him. He could probably wipe out Wilder or Joshua with ease.
Maybe you know more about the situation than I or others do here. However my reaction was very similar to the other few posts above. Can't his mgt move him along aka find better "name" opposition by now? The situation looks fishy, although it does for many of the other up and coming HWs too.
At the moment taking any fight going and keeping active is much better than not fighting. Duhaupas, Hammer or Washington would be cool but I guess we will have to wait post-Covid for opposition like that?
Another example of high risk, low reward as a matchup. Makhmudov should keep active and fight whats available for now, soon he will find himself top 15 ranked somewhere. Just look at Sanchez, Romanov, Mckean, Dinu, Zhang, Fa. If Aguilera is the best available, so be it
NAGY ****ING AGUILERA?!?! YOU SHITTING ME? The guy was (in my own words) a joke opponent for Chris Arreola, fully one mother****ing decade ago!!!!
