Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. was born Floyd Joy Sinclair on February 24, 1977. Leonard made his professional debut on February 5, 1977, but if they were the same age from any age and stage of their respective careers who would have fared, better, i.e Floyd aged far better so probably would have beaten Ray if they were both 36 when Ray lost to Norris, but what if they were both 20, despite Floyd having not moved up in weight yet, or how about in their early 30`s at 160 when Ray beat Hagler could Floyd have been good at 160 in his early 30`s in that era etc.?

Mayweather is a natural lightweight and could never fight at middleweight

We never got a chance to see what Floyd could do against another master boxer ...with Leonard we have his fight against Benetiz.

I think Floyd could have taken the punches that Ray hit Hagler with, despite the morre powerful shots Ray hurt Heans with at 168 or the shots that finished Lalonde being more powerful, I feel Ray would have trouble landing power shots on Floyd flush.

Floyd jr wouldn't last as long as his pops did. Don't even dream it. Leonard is way above Floy in every way.

Jr was far better than his dad was and punched much harder too, Sr would have been destroyed by Manny.

Did Floyd ever fight anyone who did ANYTHING better than Leonard? Sounds like a dumb question but I genuinely don't think so lol. He'd be Floyd's biggest opponent, longest opponent, strongest opponent, fastest opponent, most skilled opponent, hardest punching opponent. It's just impossible to pick against Leonard here.

The thread question really rests on these two questions :

Can a 34 year old Floyd can beat the Leonard of the Norris fight ?
Can a 39 year old Floyd can beat the Leonard of the Camacho fight ?

At every other stage, SRL beats Floyd, most would agree.

No way could Leonard from the Norris fight beat Canelo, he was awful and no way could Camacho have stopped a 39 year old Floyd.

Both of who out-boxed Ray, Hearns got caught after jabbing Ray`s head off and Duran quit in his rematch with Ray.

    Floyd doesn't have a 78" wingspan.

The term "out-boxed" might be somewhat of a misleading characterization of his loss to Duran. It was a closely contested battle fought at the highest of levels.

Thoughts on the rematch vary but, collectively, Leonard's contests were of a considerably higher level of quality than anything we could find on Mayweather's record.

Mark you seem to have a predetermined answer and are trying to convince others to buy into it. Sorry not buying it. All that matters to me is who was the better fighter at there best not when they were 50 or what not. At there best Ray kicks his ### and I dont even particularly care for Ray
