Any half-decent opponent is a risk for Whyte, true. He's simply not an elite true world class heavyweight.
We cant have it both ways tho...in one breath we,re saying hes not an elite world class heavyweight in the next we,re saying parker, povetkin, chisora x 2 and rivas are no risk fights. If their no risk fights...he maybe is an elite heavyweight. If their risky fights...he maybe isnt an elite heavyweight. The problem also is this elite thing. Boxing fans have the elite as the very best. Canelo,s elite in their eyes. Furys elite. And then we say almost everyone else is not an elite fighter. So whyte isnt elite in that respect...but so isn,t everyone else barring very few.
I definitely wouldn't say he's taken "no risk" fights. After going 1-1 with an old man, getting sparked out along the way, I won't be surprised if he moves towards that direction now. We shall see. He's been taking risky but winnable fights, and refused rematch with Joshua where he probably calculates he cannot win.
Yes. He's an acceptable opponent for even the best in the world, so in that respect he is world class. He's a couple of tiers down from the top at least though.

The best footwork in the business, chin made of iron, the power of 3 iron mikes, his right hand is a thing of beauty and that jab! Wow!! I didnt ecen mention his upper body movement and his abiity to dodge anything throw his way. If rge boxing gods made a heavyweight then this is it! He is the full package and anybody thatsays otherwise is jealous and a hater.
I think Whyte is very interestingly placed in the heavyweight field of possibilities, I think he would definitely have more than a puncher's chance against both AJ and Fury, but he would get done by either Wilder or Ruiz. Who really knows what Evil Ed has planned for his second best heavyweight PPV attraction?
It's fairly annoying that he won really. His style won't age well and it's clear he's not world level. I'd rather see the likes of Usyk, Wilder, Ruiz and Joyce in big fights than Whyte because there are more unanswered questions about them IMO.
Whyte's main problem to me is his weight fluctuations. If he had any sense, he'd try and improve his conditioning, get down to the near 240 mark. He strikes me as someone who balloons up after training camp. He's better suited slim, he's not naturally durable enough to put on that much weight. I didn't realize he was 247 when he lost against Joshua. Still in my opinion needs to trim right down.

No chance this fight happens. Wilder v Ruiz jnr is far mprr likely as PBC like to keep things in house. I wouldnt mind seeing either fight to be honest but we all know that if Whyte really wanted Wolder he would have gone to America when he threatend to.
If Whyte got in with Wilder it would be entertaining if not messy, both would be getting hurt, for that reason I don't think Wilder will go near Whyte, he needs a knock over job.
