you really telling me wilder as a jab so our of 40 odd fights he set an old man up with the poorest jab ever his trainers on record stating he aint got no jab lol mark your blinkers are on again today
I respect Ngannou for saying he wants to translate to pro boxing. He'll make a lot more money with boxing and he really deserves it. He's a cool guy and i like him and he made me a lot of money against Stipe last weekend. But it isn't a good idea. He'll get seriously hurt in boxing. He's a horrendous stricker technically. He's all power and athleticism. In HW boxing it doesn't matter as much as in MMA. The elite guys will really hurt him. He has no chance.
Who cares if he will lose. He will lose with a massive paycheck and be set for life. Ngannu is one of the least inoffensive and respectable guys in combat sports. There's only one reason the savages on this site hate him.
Sounds like he’s angling for a big payday and honestly I can’t blame him. It’s a well known fact that the UFC has been actively suppressing fighter pay for years. I doubt he’s delusional enough to actually believe his wide caveman punches will make him a serious threat in boxing.
Wilder has thrown far more jabs than Ngannou has, check the first Fury v Wilder fight and show me one Ngannou fight where Francis has matched Wilder`s jab output.
he still as a jab just below wilders both very poor but wilder is a boxer nags an mma fighter he would beat wilder thatsca money fight for wilder youd think hed be calling for it money big money wilders done
I like Ngannou and I'm happy he became champ. But he'd get wrecked in boxing. I'd like to see him fight Lewis if the Jones fight doesn't happen. But if it is strictly for the money, for a cash out, it might be worth it. It depends on his priorities. The problem is that McGregor got stopped but he was still standing and the optics were not so bad. It was light punching Floyd. But at HW Ngannou could get slept badly and that's going to linger in people's minds.Still, with a huge payday, he could ride off into the sunset. His story of coming from Cameroon is insane so I can understand if it's purely a money decision.
I like Ngannou he's improved massively as an MMA fighter but crossover is pointless, Joshua and Fury would destroy him at boxing and equally he'd destroy them at MMA.
