    So.........

Some on here suggest / state that Lennox couldn't possibly exist as he did in real life 60yrs ago yet Marciano could gain 20lb + if he was bought forward in time and be competitive.

    Just stop.

Was Rocky ever known to be starved to the point of affecting his size anyways?

He didn't "starve" himself but he did avoid heavy meals, especially his mother's delicious Italian cooking and often groaned that he had to do such a simple diet. Rocky did a lot of road work and bag work to trim himself down for extra speed and endurance. When he wasn't training he'd pig out.

There isn't a ton of info on his walk around weight between camps but there is nothing to suggest he was a natural fit (key word here) man weighing more than 200 lbs. Rocky would not be the same fighter if he weighed more than that and the whole point of him doing all that intense training was to give him an edge for his relentless volume punching. In most post retirement photos where he is over 200 lbs he is quite chunky with puffy cheeks and a gut.

No, no, I mean did he suffer from a lack of food growing up to suggest he could have been bigger then he was. A lot of people claim he would be 6ft+ and 20lbs heavier today.

    No.

I read his biography, nothing remotely suggests he was malnourished or didn't eat a lot. His family wasn't rich but he stuffed his face whenever he could and ate 3 meals a day.

He was also in the army and would have gotten plenty of nutrition then too.

The guy had a 68' reach, which is actually shorter than 147 pound Floyd Mayweather. He did not have the frame to be a modern sized 210+ fighter unless you were to make him A) an obese plodder gasping for air after 5 rounds or B) a muscle bound slugger who lacks the endurance and work rate of the actual Rock.

Being born in modern times wouldn't give him an extra 2 inches in height if he had the same parents. Apparently some people on this board don't know how genetics work.

He was indeed a small man, smaller then the LHWs of today at his best.
Not sure how i see comments like "Boiled down 210lbs of muscle" "Powerlifter legs"
"One of the most obvious examples of a natural HW" "190lbs of bone and muscle"
    "White Tyson"

    Perfectly stated.
I just wish people would accept the man as he was, the good and not so good.
    He's a legend.
He made the most of what he had.
Giving him characteristics he never had actually demeans him, if anything.

He was trying out for professional baseball teams in the 210-220 range. Are you suggesting he was trying out fat?

Lewis would not exist as he was 60 years ago. Doesn’t mean he would be bad he just wouldn’t weigh 240 most likely. Idea then was to train down. One of the reasons those big men then were even lighter then ours today. Hell our 6”2 guys fighting today are 230 plus. Are you suggesting Povetkin or Ruiz 60 years ago weigh in at their current weights? Or is that being somewhat ridiculous? Lewis would 100 percent be lighters as Marciano would 100 percent fight heavier or lighter depending on his career choices. Times change as does training with it but human genetics doesnt

Why shouldn't or couldn't Lewis weigh the same then as he did when he was active or at the very least close to it.?
Just maybe his genetic make up would dictate that?

Highly doubt it. He would weight what the best trainers in the world thought he should weigh. And in the 50s it would be far less then 240 area. Men like Schkohr or Cestac who were the same height weighed 20-30 pounds lighter.
Is it possible Lewis would be the same? Sure. Is it likely? No. Who knows what supplements he was taking? Weight lifting? The best examples people can use are Holmes and Foreman. They were contenders/champs in the 70s fast forward to the 90s and they both purposefully gained a lot of weight and were both still highly affective. They never would have weighed what they weighed in the 70s.
