What's the latest on this guy?

Who is he managed by now? I know he left Matchroom. Why is he so inactive? Is it just Covid or is there anything else?

Looked like a very good prospect. Very likeable guy, came across well in interviews. Would like to see him win something.

Thought the same thing. He’s got the moves and talks the talk. His world peace and love talk made me wonder if he lacks the spitefulness and anger when the war begins in ring.

but I think Hearn was willing to offer him fights but not an exclusive deal. His profile is bigger in the U.K. and I thought someone like Frank Warren would have loved giving him 5 or 6 fights against taxi drivers and become the second coming of Anthony Yarde.

he has all the attributes but not sure why he’s so inactive.

He said that Hearn told him "I don't think you can become a World Champion" after his draw in his previous fight and then he was let go.

I would like to see him as Akhmedov's comeback fight.

I think he should move up to light heavyweight. Easier division to compete in.

Dude lives near me. Pain in the azz neighbour if I ever met one. He comes over without asking, waves at me and goes "Dig dig. Varshtoo!" and I don't know what the hell that gibberish even means. He kicks over my trashcan, gets into my refrigerator. I don't even like the guy. One time, I stopped him and built walls around him, as kind of a cask of amontillado thing. Didn't have the reaction time to deal with my speedy building technique, I suspect, but he then just appeared outside the walls and was walking up the street to visit again, knocking on my door, all hours of the day, coming in to gossip and complain about random crap that I couldn't understand. "Urtz kaburb ma FLUG." and that kind of nonsense. I wanna move to a different neighborhood altogether. But I'm afraid of the aliens.

He looked pretty bad in his loss. It was a close fight, but he totally didn't pull the trigger. The guy who beat him got washed by Benividez in his next fight. He probably has a ceiling.

I enjoy watching him fight, he has a fan friendly style.

He clearly doesnt have the promotional backing required and isnt getting the fights he needs to be built into an elite boxer. He also lacks the coaching and training to make the transition from amateur to professional effectively.

When I saw him against Veron he still looked like an amateur just crossing over to being a professional. That was his 17th professional fight.

I think a UK promoter would do well with him. But, is he prepared to re-locate? If he isnt then its understandable that he hasnt signed with a UK promoter.

Could have still been a good undercard fighter

I agree however, he wasn't on course to be a World Champ
