Can I just clarify one point? Boxrec doesn't rank based on strength of resume, is that still correct?
From my understanding the algorithm they switched to ranks fighters based instead on attempts to model who wins a hypothetical head 2 head match up. Which seems an odd choice to attach it to a website famous for keeping track of resumes.

Wasn't Fury fighting bums after his time out of the ring? Had anyone even heard of Wallin before Fury took him on? Didn't Dillian Whyte just call out a bum? Didn't Joshua just face a 40 year old career contender in pulev? What's the difference?

Difference is Wilder said Whyte would be an easy touch so why not take him on instead of this absolute bum.

Most fighters do this. What's the point of this thread?

Why did Whyte call out a bum after beating povetkin? Whyte has talked more **** than any other heavyweight

I think that it does ranks.
For example if you had won via stoppage it is better than if via decision. Also where fight had happened, like hometown or no.
So some kind of this stuff does works ofc.

If you will KO 0-6-0 boxer in 1 st round most likely you will get lesser improvement than if you had a draw with 6-0-0 boxer while fought aboard.

Of course. Why wouldn't his management use the same strategy as last time? Fight stiffs, then some vulnerable "contenders" with questionable punch resistance and then get a shot at one of the top fighters like Fury or Joshua.

The only difference this time they won't do it for 6 years or so, as they don't have the time. It will be a stiff or two, some name opponent and then the cash out, wherein this glass jawed FRAUD will be, predictably, exposed again.

Wilder is a complete fraud. Most coddled fighter in recent times.

I'm not sure that his chin is bad. Maybe even normal or good. Fury had worked very hard to debilitate him.

I think everyone on here, except scar, could see that he was gonna go back to fighting bums.

Can Negron please fight in a Breland mask just to make this even more of a sideshow?
