Delahoya probably weighed close to 165 in the ring against Floyd and he drained down to 146 to fight Pac I don't think delahoya not being at his best was overstated at all. He looked terrible physically
I don't think there is a chance in hell it happens but I think it would be his greatest achievement if not his best p4p win
And that's one of the reasons why I wouldn't rate that win to high if Pacquiao wins, Crawford resume is weak, now if he beats Spence that's another story...
Pac would have to actually fight and beat Crawford decisively to make up for the damage done to his legacy over ducking him in the first place. I cannot find which language 'orveiously' comes from, so that I can see what it means. Please help.
Pac is gonna be the king of 147 if he beats Crawford. Crawford is undefeated and Spence is ducking him now. The victory over Crawford will prove that Pac is best of the best.
A 42 year old featherweight beating the prime welterweight #3 p4p? Probably would make him the GOAT, but it will never happen.
I don't think so. It is not in any of the synonyms listings, Luf. I think that you are trolling me again, my sweetest friend. What have I become to you? A clown? I can tell you that I am full of thoughts-broken thoughts-which I CANNOT repair, sir.
Pac's wins over Barrera, Morales and Marquez will always be heads above the others (some are lineal titles too). His lineal title wins over Bradley (this is particularly criminally underrated, this Bradley just won over a JMM that KTFO Pac, and was a #3 p4p boxer at the time) and Hatton probably comes next. Cotto, ODLH and Margarito for the sheer boxing skill and weight climbing at least at the time. Circumstances-wise, Ledwaba, Sasakul and Thruman would be his biggest wins. All things considered, I'd probably rank it as: 1. Barrera 1 2. Marquez 2 3. Morales 2 4. Cotto 5. Thurman (I would've placed Hatton here in the past, but Thurman was undefeated, established at the weight, undeniably prime, live dog during the fight, Pac really showed his boxing skills and power here too, and this added three more accolades under Pac's belt: being the oldest welterweight champ, first four time welterweight champ, and only fighter to have ever fought within 4 decades. These titles, like his 5 lineal titiles and his 12 major titles in 8 different weight classes will probably never be broken ever again). If he wins over Bud, and again he can win even though the odds are way against his favor, I'd put that win above Cotto and kick out Thurman.
I don't rank the Cotto fight that high. The catch weight diminishes it for me. Barrera 1, Morales 2, Margarito, Hatton then Cotto.
Cotto looked very good at the weigh-in and he wasn't drained. He didn't have sunken eyes and cheeks or a hollowed out midsection. And did you hear the punches? Very, very heavy. Cotto's power was savage that night. He was punching with concussive force. The catchweight was unnecessary. Pac beats him at 140 or 147. Bad styles matchup for Cotto.
