Does Joshua have to fight like he used to, be aggressive and powerful? Could that bring him a win against Fury?

His best way to win is trying to outbox Fury, emphasis on try. It's like you guys are forgetting who's the real fighting man here. Joshua isn't beating Fury in a fight, no way.

You're deluded, its the exact opposite. If Joshua tried to ourbox Fury he'd get picked off with EASE. Joshua's best chance is to walk Fury down and drag Fury into a dogfight

A few good bodyshots to mess up his breathing rhythm and the bodybuilder will collapse from exhaustion. Fury likes to work the body. Joshua has an underrated stiff jab, he should try to sit behind it. I also haven't really seen Joshua throwing leather from clinches, he's not a good infighter. He throws good combos from mid to close range, but when it comes chest to chest? Not really. Fury would smother him and maul him up close. Joshua needs a bit of room to get his shots off.

Joshua needs to box from the outside. He schools Fury from range

Eh? That's the exact opposite of what he should be doing. He's got a 1/10 chance maybe of getting a points victory via outboxing.

His only chance really is to go after Fury and score knockdowns or get the KO/TKO.

Joshua has the advantage up close, Fury has the advantage on the outside.

Joshua should work on the jab and make the rounds harder for Fury, work on the straight right hand and chip away at Fury and pick the right time to launch an assault against him.

Joshua wouldn't be able to beat Fury on the outside. His best bet would be to try and walk him down, but again that might play into Fury's hands.

Fury historically has had lapses in concentration which have caused him to be dropped. In the Cunningham fight (albeit several years ago) and Wilder 1 he was caught when he wasn't concentrating properly. Someone with Joshua's power and killer instinct should be looking to capitalise on that.

If AJ fights fury like he fought Ruiz in the rematch then he will lose by wide ud. He can’t outbox someone of fury’s size and movement, no way!

so what are his other options? He can try and set traps and counter fury but again fury is too smart to fall for those, plus he’s very difficult to land cleanly on.

I guess his main plan of action would be to try and cut the ring off and work fury to the body and on the inside but that’s not easy.

I’m really struggling to give AJ much of a chance in this fight. At some point AJ will realise he’s behind on the cards and he’ll have to go for broke and try to empty the tank on fury, he would be better to try this in the first half of this fight as fury has a good engine himself.

these are heavyweights so who knows, I just hope we get a good fight with plenty of twists and both men getting dropped at some point. If it’s a boring fury ud then you can keep the rematch and the money it could’ve generated

No, he`s improved a lot since then, he needs to use his jab and feints to set up his combo`s, if he just comes charging in he`ll get countered like he did v Ruiz.

You're forgetting Matchroom judges. If it's reasonably close they will award Joshua with the win. He just needs to jab and throw a few flashy combos that land on the gloves. I doubt Fury will do much either since he seems to be coming in light. That's a mistake imo. He should come in 270 and wreck the bodybuilder.

If Joshua chooses to box I think the fight will pan out like this. Fury will out jab Joshua by about 5 jabs and land a good sneaky shot here and there, Joshua will throw some flashy combos and bombs which will land on the gloves/elbows/not land at all. Fury will work the body well, but by single shots (looping hooks he likes to throw) so the commentators will be ignoring them. Matchroom judges give Joshua a razor close UD.

AJ has better offensive skills than Fury, Fury is really overated because of his good reflexes, his right hands are nowhere near as tight as AJ`s.

Fury couldn`t even out-jab Wilder in their first fight and ate a lot of counter jabs, his jab leaves himwide open to the right hand, he even ate right hands in that second bout v Wilder in the opening round.

Wilder has a very good jab, it's just that he chooses to not use it most of the time. When he throws it it's very accurate. Isn't his jab in the top 5 by connect percentage? People really like to downplay Wilder as a bum, he's not. Wilder with a good team would have been ATG. He has all the attributes needed. It's the fault of his team that they let him fall in love with his power. Boxers are not too smart most of the time, it's the job of their teams to reign them in. Also Joshuas right hand is nowhere near Wilder's.
