I've always thought Parker easily beats Wilder Too fast, too experienced. Parker is nothing like Brezeale
Jeez, everyone knows that I am the first and greatest Wilder hater, but Parker has been so bad, I think Deontay would take this, provided of course he ever gets back in the ring.
Parker by decision, Wilder is a goddamn hype job. Man looked desperate against Artur Szpilka. Pillowfist Parker will get on the inside and tear him apart
It could be something like the fight against Ortiz, Parker would dominate the first half of the fight until Wilder catches him and knocks him out ...
There was a time I would of confidently picked Parker but since losing to Whyte he's just been treading water and his career has stagnated. Parker will struggle with Wilder's movement and size advantage, Parker moves well enough on the back foot but he isn't your seek and destroy type of fighter, he is at his best against stationary targets where he can unload his combinations on, but give him some movement and his combinations vanish. He also lacks a good enough jab to back Wilder up, he just flicks it and throws it with no commitment. Parker hits hard enough to be a threat if Molina can rock Wilder badly, Parker can spark him out but he'll struggle to find Wilder's chin. Even when Wilder is aggressive and open to be countered, Parker simply doesn't counter punch enough. Like many fighters with quick hands, he relies on getting off first rather making guys miss and punishing them. Which works well vs low level fighters but against top guys speed on it's own isn't enough. Parker has improved his head movement a lot since the Ruiz Jr fight. He won't be a sitting duck like Stiverne or Breazeale and he has a far better chin than Ortiz. So I expect Parker to last the distance but don't think he can pressure Wilder enough to earn a decision, he'll give him a competitive fight, make him look bad at times like many lesser boxers like Washington, Molina, Szpilka and Duhaupas have but he'll lose a decision. Maybe Andy Lee his new trainer can make a difference, we'll see how he looks vs Chisora. But he's 29 now, will be harder to change things up at this stage of his career he isn't a young prospect anymore he's a seasoned pro.
I don't think this would go the distance. Either one will get KO'd. I think Parker could KO wilder if he goes aggressive.
Parker would walk him down put him on the backfoot rendering Wilder hepless. Parker would make short work of the chinny and limited Wilder from there. Too fast, too strong and superior technically. Would never happen though, Parker is good of opponent for Wilder to consider.
Wilder would win (with the caveat that he's not totally broken now post Fury 2). I don't particularly rate Parker. Like Dillian Whyte, he's a solid top 10 guy but not close to top 5 IMO.
Ban bets are a bit childish aren't they? People have different opinions on who might win a boxing fight.. doesn't matter that much.
