Given Pacs age and the buzz around Crawford as a top p4p fighter, a Pac win would rate very high in terms of legacy wins. That being said, it is difficult, realistically, to gauge Crawford given Postol may have been his best win.
Considering Pac is 42 and been inactive for a while it must be top 5, even with Crawford lack of resume.
Yeah Crawford beats Cotto. I never said Crawford has a better resume. I said the resume of Cotto going into the Pacquiao fight is no better than Crawford's going into the Pacquiao fight.
It would be the best win of his career, Bud would have beaten anybody Manny has beaten and is bigger and more powerful than anybody Manny has beat aside from Thurman who was nowhere near Bud`s level.
He's not bigger than Margarito, Clottey, or Mosley. And Mosley definitely hits harder. Bradley schooled a roided Marquez coming off one of the greatest KOs of all time. Cotto would likely beat Crawford. Clenelo hits harder than Crawford and Cotto boxed him just fine and was very competitive. Crawford has... Postol.
Margharitto was garbage, Clottey hardley through any punches and Mosley was older than Bud is and not rated in the top 10 P4P anymore when Manny beat him. In the third round, Pacquiao knocked Mosley down, using a one-two capped with a left straight. Mosley was left dazed by the knockdown but managed to stand up. From that point on, Mosley backpedaled and seemed very reluctant to engage Pacquiao, throwing few combinations, trying to potshot with occasional counter right hands, and looking for one big punch.
All catchweight fights have an Asterix. Doesn't matter how good the guy looks. There will always be the question on whether he was affected by the weight or not.
Zab and Clottey were good wins although he easily could have lost the Clottey fight . Margo destroyed Cotto and Mosley was past prime and it was razor close. But Crawford has unified LW and LWW which is more impressive in my eyes.
Timing. The divisions were garbage. Crawford didn't have tough guys in his path. Burns? Indongo? Diaz? Jean? The current 140 class at least has Taylor, Prograis, Ramirez... A level above what Crawford feasted on. Like I said... Postol is his best win.
