He looked like a corpse at 146. Your absolutely blind or in denial if you think otherwise. I love pac but I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like beating delahoya at 146 in his last fight is the same as beating him at 154. Please go pitch your propaganda to someone else
Doesn't matter how either resume is explained, its a subjective sport and people will always see things differently. I wouldn't say either has a particularly impressive resume in terms of who they beat, but Crawford has twice unified a division by beating the best in the division, hence he gets the edge for me.
I know what you`re saying but I just think Morales was more beatable than Bud is, he got hit a lot and tended to brawl too much.
Yea, due to resume. TC doesn’t face anyone who can push him to his limits. He’s 34 with no significant wins against top tier opposition. Everyone he has faced has been at least one level below him. That factors in to how much one gets hit.
Going off of best wins. Best performance is different because that takes into consideration how dominant the win was. Marquez 2 is a better win than Cotto, but the Cotto fight was a better performance by Pacquiao.
The best fighter p4p that Pac ever beat was Barrera. But in an absolute sense you would have to rate Crawford over Barrera. Surely, Crawford due relatively weak resume rates considerably lower than Barrera p4p. But you have to take into consideration Crawford is far bigger than Barrera so in an absolute sense hes almost certainly a better fighter than Barrera.
Did you follow Morales' career??? He was hittable against lesser opposition because he fought to the level of his opponent and yet he always beat them too. When he got into the ring against somebody he respected he fought with more focus on defense.
Pac was coming up 2 weight divisions. Was he supposed to go up 3? Oscar got knocked out by Hopkins and then dropped down to 154 and a fight later fought Floyd.
Pac moving up has nothing to do with how compromised delahoya was physically. And you just made my point for me Delahoya was fighting at 160 4 years prior to fighting manny at 146. He looked unhealthy. Never seen someone successfully drop down 2 weight classes in their mid 30s
You act like Pac had been fighting at 147 for years and dragged Oscar down. You have to consider that one guy was called out and moved up 2 weight classes. Pac was disadvantaged as well as he had never fought at the weight and didn't have any time to get acclimated to 147. And further to my point, he weighed in at 142, so it wasn't like Pac bullied him on size.
ODLH is a natural WW, that’s his prime weight. Fighters drop 2+ weight classes healthily all the time. Ever heard of Ricky Hatton? Guy would balloon to 200lb+ and drop into 140 lol. logic follows. Pac wrecked him and everyone’s logic was that Pac gets beat by any top 10 WW. By Pac destroying everyone, he proved it wasn’t the opponent, it was just him. Can’t move the goal posts. and again lol with that excuse. Pac had an injured shoulder vs Floyd and corrales was drained vs Floyd. Fighters never come in tip top shape, that’s not their opponents problem.
How was the Mosley fight remotely close? Shane suffered memory loss after the kd, and backpeddaled so much that a stichable size blister on his foot. His gf at the time kept telling Shane to not be his biatch and he also praised Manny as the pound for pound king!
