Manny Pac vs Thomas Hearns would’ve been brutally one sided.

Honestly, I really wanted to see Golovkin vs Miguel Cotto, Golovkin vs Sam Soliman and Golovkin vs Jermaine Taylor...these guys won straps when Golovkin was being ducked (I think he'd won a strap himself by then) and they had the audacity to pose for photos with their strap and claim 'champion' status, while umm-ing and ahm-ing about unifying with Golovkin.

Golovkin would have crushed all three - might even have killed Taylor.....who had a brain injury and shouldn't have been fighting at all..so it was for the best I suppose.

Truth was told in the end - all three ducked him, lost or gave up their straps, but it was as insulting to me as if Damiani had actually claimed Hvy champion status in Tyson's era.

I don't like anyone who wants to see Foreman destroy Leon Spinks. That speaks your character, you sadist. I hope you're joking.

OK, I overreacted but I found the Leon vs. Foreman choice disturbing. Spinks was an oddly hapless, sympathetic figure whose only notable victory was against the shot, post-Shavers, brain-damaged Ali. If you'd like to see Leon Spinks thrown in the ring against George Foreman maybe you'd have an orgasm ogling Hurricane Jackson take on prime Tyson.

Misread the thread title. Just thought it was to name some mismatches. I don’t particularly like watching them myself unless it’s someone I hate and I don’t dislike Leon at all.

    Keep your shirt on.
