Kind of a homer pick since he's my favourite fighter but I think Hearns beats Leonard any other night.

I rewatched Khan/Maidana too recently and I honestly forgot how great Khan was in his prime. He's kind of a laughing stock on these forums nowadays but the dude had some serious game. His round 1 was one of the most perfect 3 minutes of fighting I ever remember seeing.

    He did avoid
He was dragged kicking and screaming to that fight
The courts were going to be played and He would have had to hand that belt over to chino
He had used every trick in the book to not fight
    This is fact

Khan was a phenomenal boxer in his prime and one of the most exciting fighters ever. He could win rounds consistently vs the best in the sport and he fought with a relentless intensity and high workrate that you don't often see in boxing. You never knew if he was about to be KO'd or if he was about to score a KO, but he would always keep those hands flying, bouncing around throwing those lightning fast combos getting in and out of danger. Khan would have given Mayweather hell and Mayweather knew it, that's why he ducked him. Mayweather didn't have the power to hurt Khan at that state in his career like Canelo did, and Mayweather totally ducked Khan when he was ready to cash out of the sport and didn't want to take the risk by fighting a guy that could have won a decision vs him.

Amir Khan gets constantly laughed at on this forum and it's embarrassing. Some people only remember the times he was KO'd and forget all the success he had. Some people never got over the Breidis Prescott KO. But it took so much courage for Khan to overcome that moment and become the star he became. When Khan fought Bud, they accused him of quitting and totally ignore the fact that he was low blowed and Virgil Hunter made the decision to stop the fight. Khan was coming on and Bud sensing he could not get Khan out of there, knew he was in for a long night, and did the low blow. No one ever gives Amir Khan his due. I was a big fan of Amir Khan early on in his career and I couldn't help but admire the guy. He has a great attitude, and showed tremendous resilience and determination to overcome the Prescott situation and have the career that he did.

I'll second this. Khan is a bit of a joke nowadays but his handspeed was next-level. If he'd had a good chin he'd have been great, imho.

I will never understand people who think Floyd couldn't hurt Khan... Amir was decked by Willie Limond FFS. Meanwhile Floyd was able to stop the likes of Hatton, and keep bigger fighters like Canelo honest (i appreciate there is a combination of factors in play there)

Would Khan have given Floyd trouble in his prime - for a few rounds yes but once the mid point of the fight was reached and Khan's concentration dropped Floyd would have taken over it may not have even taken that long. One was elite and an ATG the other World Class for a time.

I doubt we will ever know for sure.

When Joshua was hurt against Ruiz, the punches didn't look devastating which makes me think there was some truth to him (Joshua) still suffering from the effects of a ko in the gym.
Look at how he recovered after a massive punch from wladimir. I don't think the Ruiz punch was anywhere near as hard (easy for me to say looking from the outside).
Even when they did trade on the inside it was Ruiz who went down first.
Really think that loss was not the normal outcome if they fought 10 times

gone check it out oscar couldnt protect him from that gight any more
court proceedings were about to be started
    khan would have lost
so that would have been two sets of step aside money
    court cost for losing
and him handing his belt over
as ive always said his hand was forced
    gone look it up
    khans words
maidana rematch no he really was trying to hurt me in there no way

    Bellew is old.
Usyk and Chisora will beat him.

I do know these biased comments because Usyk was in away corner and definitely he did not boxed vs Bellew for judges cards.
He needed to stop Bellew to win this fight and he achieved his target.
Bellew also did not fought vs prime Briedis, he had vacated belt.
When Usyk had all belts he assumed that he might travel till cards vs Usyk and become Undisputed CW champion when Usyk had all belts and The Ring belt.
Dreams didn't happened to be truth.

Usyk also knew that he should stop Huck to get win vs him and he achieved this.

I think about Pulev vs Wlad.
Wlad then had shoved that he is aging in his last fight and because he had 65 pro boxing fights, very long mileage in amateur ranks and was 38 years 7 months old vs then prime 33 y.o Pulev with 20-0-0 record.
Then old, aging Wlad still appeared not enough old and looks that this fight had turned Pulev into over the hill boxer after this fight.

If Wlad was some months older I think he did not had defeated Pulev.

I'll have a look...like I said I don't like khan but one thing I can't question is his balls...think he'd happily fight anyone..even with his shaky chin lol
