Why are so many British female boxers wanting Bridge to win fight? Is Bridges just that nice of person or is shannon a b*tch or something?
Whilst this fight is very poor for a “world title” it has perked my interest on twitter. There seems to be some needle between them now - Shannon Courtenay has criticised Bridges approach such as asking her fans what underwear she should wear at the weigh in, saying she’s a joke etc. Given Shannon’s reaction on social media when she gets criticised, I think that is somewhat rich. Rooting for Bridges here.
I could very well be wrong here but I think that Bridges is playing a superb game in winding Courtenay up and taking her mind off the actual fight.
Bit harsh mate. Whilst I don’t think they are boxing near the standard of Katie Taylor, Savannah Marshall and Clarissa Shields I think talentless is pretty rough. You don’t have to watch it. I think so too pal, Courtenay is being made to look a hypocrite and Bridges is really under her skin. Not sure Bridges will win but probably worth a tenner at 4/1!
Following Courtenay on Instagram she seems to think this will be a walk in the park...basically saying she’s a world champion already...I’m not sure she’s good enough to be making that assumption...
It is area level stuff, and that is being kind. I wont but everytime I put twitter on I have the two thrown a cross my timeline. Whole fight is purely down to nonces on social media who have run out of wanking material.
