Fair enough. I agree the level is low, certainly not the standard that a world title fight should be held to.
The bookies are not often wrong and odds of 4/1 on Bridges mean that she is basically cannon fodder in their opinion. I unfortunately have Courtney a favourite for a number of reasons but primarily she is a Matchroom fighter , fighting at home and from the little I have seen I believe has better experience and team behind her. I cannot believe that there are not more skilled female boxers who are more worthy of a title fight than these 2 Instagram personalities.
Rachel Ball would beat both on the same night. Ellie Scotney and Ramla Ali can both make featherweight and are levels above Courtenay and Bridges despite only having two fights each.
It is essentially a couple of people playing boxing and bizarrely doing it with a World Title on the line. It world be incredibly dangerous putting one of these two in with someone who was genuinely elite World Level.
Yeah I watched the recent interviews with bridges and she's a nice lassie imo.she defo holds the moral high ground here and it'll be winding courtenay up no doubt.bridges seems the more genuine of the two that's for sure.
Natasha Jonas was 1/100 odds on when she was sensationally stopped by Vivienne Obenauf 3 years ago. That was the day of the pudding and Courtenay losing any fight would not be a major shock.
Courtney will win but at the end of the day will still be an unlikable and possibly racist, pouting little Chav. Even with her joke of a world title she won’t sell any tickets and will lose the first time she fights anybody half decent.
She isn't that bad to be honest, and she does sell quite a few tickets. I don't know why this is a World Title fight when both are ranked like 6th and 7th with the Governing Body. Shouldn't it be 1 and 2 fighting? I give her the benefit of the doubt about being racist since the tweets were quite a while ago and everyone makes mistakes, although I don't like how she didn't take full responsibility for her actions afterwards.
Are Shannon Courteneay and Antony Fowler related ? They have to be the most unlikable boxers out there. When they get abuse or found out they act humble for awhile but they cant help it and drift back to been themselves.
