But perhaps that's only if you're a sucker for Eddie Hearn's "appearances".
Appearances can be deceiving, of course.
Eddie Hearn's being talking all positive on almost a daily basis for months now, but nothing definite has been announced. He's just making it APPEAR all good, but until everyone announces a definite date and location nothing has been said.

The fact that Hearn has gone to efforts to keep saying "a deal is being worked", "it is close now", almost every day without change, might actually indicate the opposite of what you're inferred from it.

 

Agreed, but still though, I don't see any evidence of the other party wanting it, so the only part looking like it's even slightly interested in making it happen is Hearn.

Unless we believe it's a lie that the fighters have signed an agreement to fight, then I still think this fight could happen, and probably will because the fighters know how much disrespect and disappointment will come from the fight not happening.

So maybe hearn is just making appearances, maybe not, but at least there's more coming from him then just Fury's camp trolling and making it look like Hearn is stalling.

Why does it have to be Hearn doing it all, why not the rest of them doing something other than just sitting around waiting and trolling on instagram?

You hear from Arum about as much as Hearn. Hearn just likes to repeat the same bull**** over and over. 301 days ago he said the deal was done.....what happened?

In a nutshell Eddie has said both fighters will be offered a choice of 4 venues and we go from there and he is not happy with John Fury.

Don't think it was Fury's fault he didn't get a fight in December, that's on Bob who refused to pay for anyone but AJ. That's despite Fury Wilder 2 having 1.2M PPV sales and making him a pretty penny no doubt.

 

I've heard Hearn talk a lot before about trying to make fights he had no intention of making. I wouldn't believe a word from him.

Didn't Michael Hunter say he'd fight Fury for free ? That would be a good match because Fury hasn't fought a small mobile heavyweight since Cunningham and look how that fight turned out.

I think if Joshua actually manages to beat Fury, the excuses will be flying and Joshua wont get the full credit. They're already being made. "Fury has been inactive for 2 years prime Fury would destroy Joshua"

 

I just saw Bob Arum in a jet pack flying past my house.
I managed to ask him where he's going and he said he's going to Paraguay and probably on to Namibia, today, and has Morocco and Bahrain on his itinerary for tomorrow ..... to negotiate offers to stage AJ-Fury.

So don't believe everything Eddie Hearn says when he suggest he's the only guy doing any work here.
