Just watched Eddie Hearn's latest interview with IFL TV claiming he's the only one grafting.

Porky pies or are Arum and Warren resting on their laurels, which makes this all the more striking?

I know we shouldn't just listen to Hearn but it seems like it is always him and the rest of the Matchroom team drafting contracts / deciding venues / making deals etc, not just for this fight, but other major fights as well.

 

bob had delivered us to see superfight Loma vs Lopez while eddie recently: Chisora vs Usyk, Whyte vs Pov II and Pulev vs A.J.

In Loma vs Lopez they had 3 belts on line and had belts before fight.
While now we most likely will be offered to see Chisora vs Parker ppv stuff?

When they will beat, then I will believe that A.J vs Fury will happen.

He invents his version and boasts a lot, and people lap it up as gospel.

FFS, when fighters do that, we don't take them too seriously.

May be true, but Warren and Arum are dinosaurs with the media. Hearn always steals a match before they’ve even realised he’s said it.

Eddie is simpy going through the motions. He knows full well that there isn't the money to warrant this fight happening.

He's openly admitted that the money that will be offered to both fighters is less than what was available last year.

Frank and Bob know that the vaccine roll out in the UK and US means that normal times will be back by the end of the year. Delaying a fight for 6 months to generate a huge gate makes financial sense.

 

Shambles really. I don’t want to else either fight anyone else. It’s still the biggest payday for both of them. Less excuses from both sides and make the fight happen

 

Dont know if it is just me but has anyone else seen Tyson Fury's last 2 or 3 sparing videos have been against 6ft- 6ft 2in guys. Not the type of sparring you would expect for an AJ type of fight. Seemed to me like he is preparing for someone else.

 

So far it seems Hearn has 4 offers that he has gone out and sourced. The other parties particularly Warren keep moaning and seem to be coming up with nothing. If this fight comes off we should likely be thankful to Hearn it does.

 

Noises Fury is making is not someone who wants the fight. Should have got that tick over on December but Warren wouldn’t stump up
