By young, I mean Lewis of the Mason ft.
Tyson of Feb 1989 did not look like his best atttt all, so anyway the version s I've mentioned, who's the victor?

Any prime Lennox kayos any TYSON that ever lived. If prime Lewis or Holy had hit 4 years earlier then Tyson would be a footnote in heavyweight history. No more than the Earnie Shavers of his era.

Probably Lewis...Yes Lennox At that time was still learning but Like you said, Tyson of the forst bruno fight did not look like his best atttt all. This tyson does have a punch's chance though.......Prime Tyson would have IMO destroyed pre steward Lewis and would have gone 50/50 with the Prime Lewis.

Mike got hit a lot against Bruno. But I’d still have fancied him against a young pre-prime version of Lewis.

He beats a prime Lewis so I see no reason why he wont beat a greener one.

Truth. Borne out by history. Only the Tyson nuthuggers dispute it.

Earnie Shavers was a career B level fighter.

If you really believe what you’ve typed, there’s no point in debating any further.

It is what Tyson would have been relegated to if those 2 had been in their prime from 86 on. His era's Earnie.

Lewis didn't have the amazing skills he'd learn later with Steward. Mike would have certainly been rattled, but Lewis goes out out in 5.

1989 Tyson vs 1989 Lewis ... Lewis debut in 1989 as a pro ... He's not going to touch that Tyson

    Prime Tyson vs Prime Lewis

Power: Tyson ... Tyson had power in both hands and every punch carried power. Lewis may have a harder right hand but overall Tyson was more powerful.
Speed: Tyson and not even close.
Punching: Tyson ... He had every punch in his arsenal and couple that with his fantastic combination punching and finishing ability he is superior to Lewis ... Lewis had a better jab and possibly a better right hand ... But he wasn't as accurate as Tyson and wasn't able to work off differing angles like Tyson.
Durability: Tyson. Lewis got one punch KOed twice by B level boxers who weren't even known for big one punch KO power.
Reach: Lewis was taller and had a longer reach but this isn't a hard advantage when it comes to fighting Tyson. Tyson was used to being the shorter guy with a lesser reach. Lewis was always good at using his reach so it would be interesting to see if he can offset Tyson's athleticism with it. Of course we will never know.
