Lucky he did otherwise he’d have been stuffed.

Like I said if he threw a punch that was blocked and broke his hand against a big, strong, powerful and mean guy like Liston or young Foreman then he’s toast.

I doubt he realised his hand was broken, your adrenaline is far too high for that ****, I broke my hand in a street fight and kept swinging with it, I didn’t feel the pain for about half an hour

    I hear that.

I punched a guy once in a punch up in a pub ( he wasn’t badly hurt and it broke up quick) but about a week and a half later my hand blew up like a balloon and was absolute agony. I cut a knuckle on a tooth and it became infected to hell. I missed about a weeks work while it healed and had to take strong antibiotics which messed a lot of other things up.

I never saw the point of street fights afterwards. Even if you “win” you can do yourself harm.

The fact that you associate kickboxing with Bruce shows you don't know much about what you're talking about.

Tyson might be the GOAT when it comes to boxers in street fights, for example I don't think Tyson would of ever beaten guys like Ali or Lewis in a boxing match but I would bet on Tyson over either of them in a street fight. But if there are some guys who could potentially beat Tyson in this setting these are the guys I would go with:

Tyson Fury - So much size/strength and coming from the family he does I'm pretty sure they taught him plenty of street fighting tricks. If Mike is number 1 in this setting I could easily see Fury being number 2!

Danny Hodge - While his pro boxing record was only 7-2 it wasn't his boxing that was his best skill, Hodge was one of the greatest college wrestlers of all time never losing in college or even getting taken down! Also pinned nearly all his opponents. he was known for his incredible grip strength and ability to break pliers in half, he also had knowledge of submissions to go with his Wrestling/boxing skills. Three time NCAA D1 Champion, two time Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion after a few months of training and won the silver medal in Freestyle Wrestling at the 1956 Olympics. Was no doubt one of the baddest men on the planet in the 50's/60's.

Dillian Whyte - Cross trained in MMA/Muay Thai, I'm sure we've all read about his background. Whyte has a better chance than most in a street setting.

Larry Holmes - I don't think he'd beat Tyson in a street fight but he'd give a much better go than most would. Holmes grew up street fighting and once stated "I used to knock out a guy every weekend," And also said "I had streaks. Once I went 40 straight weekends, knocking out some guy every one of them." Holmes would of beaten most boxers in a street fight.

Deontay Wilder - Say what you want about him in the ring but if it's in the street I think he'd be more successful! Although I don't see him beating Tyson in this setting.

Liston...plus, I have a hard time believing Mike would bounce back from a Holmes sucker-dropkick.

Yep. Holmes would lose in a street fight but no one beats Larry in a crowded car park.

I honestly don't know why people think that the wrecking machines of boxing, would have the best chance in a street fight, or an LPR fight.

    They honestly wouldn't.

Anybody with a decent ground game, would probably beat Tyson in a one on one street fight.

In an LPR fight, it is almost impossible to score a quick win, so it usually comes down to a waiting game.

This is a more than legitimate point. I'm mostly a streetfighter, and a firm believer in getting the first shot off, even if that means a sucker shot (thrown as hard as possible on the chin or solar plexus). I've won most of my fights, but I'm a dirty, shitty fighter...if I start losing I'll just pick something up off the ground and hit him in the head with that.

To me the point of a street fight is to WIN, and not get hurt. There's no such thing as a "fair" streetfight...all's fair.

I agree with this post completely. Even though I’ve never heard of Dan hodge. Fury Whyte and wilder are total beasts in the street. I’d also add joe Frazier with his knockout power left hook and chin. Rocky Marciano with his suzie. Carl Froch is a great shout.

I used to work in the security industry, and I am not a big man by any means.

If a big man had a lot of fight in him, and I couldn't get him into any of the approved arm bars, I sometimes panicked and choked him out.

I cannot imagine you ever being in any situation where the result is another person being uncomfortable outside of drinking tea and explaining the genius of Burns in a slightly unpolite tone let alone putting another human being to sleep.

A wrestler dominates the streets as fruity as the training is off the mat with a mean streak they go 49-0 against tossers who pick street fights.
