Shame really that Matchroom didn't do the same. I appreciate that we all do stupid stuff when we're young, but she's not big enough commercially to justify backing IMO.

 

She keeps making a big deal about what Bridges wears too. It’s not that deep she just keeps talking about it, I don’t know why.

She even had the nerve to call herself a “role model”, so so arrogant.

And in the Hearn press conference I don’t know why she had to say that she has a 14 year old sister and that her coaches have daughters

 

Just watched a video of Shannon the racist homophobe calling herself a role model. That’s enough women’s boxing for me for one week.

 

Bridges is more popular with the Matchroom massive than "one of their own", mad really but very funny. This all looks a little staged, the weigh in is going to be absolutely ridiculous and amazing at the same time.

 

Fair play to bridges for the profile she has given herself just purely off her looks. There’s a reason AJ sells to the wife, aunt and granny.

 

You've changed your tune. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you previously complimentary towards her, knew her personally and that she was actually really nice in person?

 

I have seen Bridges fight she is terrible I doubt she even has the stamina to go 10 rounds if Courtney is half decent she will stop her.

 

I have to agree with you here, I think after a few rounds she'll be done. It's a shame really because we're going to be fed a load of rubbish about Courtenay after this and Rachel Ball will probably be made to wait for her shot. I know Bridges is being marketed as good for women's boxing and supposedly putting it on the radar but let's be "brutally honest" here, she's fought tomato cans and is only here and in this fight because of her huge social media following that is predominantly men who get off to her content, the comments section on each post is embarrassing.

 

I agree 100% I stopped following her on insta coz it was just embarrassing stuff. The other thing is Bridges is 34 years old used to be a body builder and just boxed for fitness she has fought complete trash like you said she is not even close to being the best in her weight division in Australia. This really is a case that she 100% only got this fight because of her looks I don't even know how she is ranked.

 

I hope one of them enters the ring to Cardi B - WAP, that would top this off nicely, brave, empowering and everything else, the works.

 

Agree on both. Shannon talking about how she’s picked on on social media etc and then can’t stop commenting on what Bridges is wearing. I wouldn’t mind but the angle Shannon is attacking it from is that she’s a hard working, good honest pro that’s had to earn her stripes etc. She’s had one tough fight and she got dropped and lost.

 

Courtney keeps going in about bridges looks etc but the only reason she's got exposure is because she was the best looking out of a bad bunch to start with herself

 

Who is the Asian guy working with Booth, he thinks he's a right gangster. He was shouting and acting like a child in the Kelly v Ava bubble.

As for Courtenay she's so unlikeable and I don't get this notion that she is attractive? Tweets that surfaced never been mentioned but I have noticed the Adidas sponsorship is no longer there.

 

Courtenay has got to be one of the most unlikeable people in boxing at the minute. Right up there with Fowler, Bellew and Penfold.
