If Fury was going through a divorce when he fights AJ and loses, it's understandable. So what if he was the favourite? The man was going through a divorce ffs.

No, someone said Taylor has a better resume and I said he has one good win, you idiot.

I think you're way too harsh on Fury (and a bit of an AJ fanboy).
You never give Fury credit. Like when you said you knew all along he'd beat Wilder up in the rematch because Wilder wasn't much good, I found out that wasn't true at all and you'd actually been picking Wilder to smash Fury up.
Fury proved you wrong so you invented a version where beating Wilder up didn't impress you as much.
Anything to take credit away from Fury, I guess.

Here I said Fury has a weak resume. Fury does have a weak resume. I agree that his win over Wladimir was a terrible fight, and not a truly great victory because of Wlad's age. Wilder was not an excellent champion, nowhere near. I said that, and outside of win and draw against Wilder, and the Wlad win, Fury doesn't have much.
So I'm not exactly boosting Fury's resume.
But according to you, "Fury can do no wrong" in my eyes, because I do give him credit where it is due.

Likewise, I give Anthony Joshua his due credit.
The gruelling win over Wladimir was very impressive for a boxer with only 18 professional fights.
Parker I actually thought could beat AJ.
And I thought AJ would probably lose to Ruiz in the rematch too.
I also admire how AJ didn't come out with a ton of excuses when he lost.

Both Fury and AJ are credits to British boxing.
It's remarkable how many people can't even see that.

    He's a professional fighter.
Everyone has problems in life. Lots of fighters have troubles, many have divorces.

Truth be told, I don't like either man.

Tyson is a despicable liar of the highest degree
AJ is a company man who is clearly a bully and a fake.

Bud, you're even over on the main forum taking Tyson's team ffs. You clearly don't like MR.

Why do you say I'm pathetic ?

Of course balancing life problems and elite professional boxing is hard. That's not the point.
Every fighter has to do it.

Wladimir Klitschko won 64 professional fights and lost 5. Are you looking for 64 "life problems" excuses from opponents in the fights he won ? Or even excuses for all 5 of his losses ?
No, you're just clinging desperately for reasons to discredit 1 of the 5 opponents who beat him, namely Tyson Fury.

Bored of it now. Couldn’t care less if it happens or not. Not really a fan of either and the build up would do my head in.

    Maybe I’m just miserable.

I like Tyson Fury and I like Anthony Joshua. To me they are just fighters but they seem like decent enough people.
Both are too greedy for money. Neither of them are likely to become all-time greats.

The whole debate is about resumes and giving fighters credit. You clearly hate giving Fury credit, hence how you "forgot" that you'd picked Wilder to spark him in the rematch, after the event in which Fury proved that prediction very very wrong.
You, and many others, focus on the weakness of his resume, and downplay the good wins.
His resume isn't all-time great but I don't understand why people would want to dismiss the good he's done either.

I don't care about promoters, they are all liars. Arum and Warren are as bad as Hearn. Hearn is likeable guy though, if he's viewed as an entertaining liar. Arum's quite entertaining for a 90 year old.
The difference is, Hearn's got a lot of people convinced that he speaks the gospel truth. Matchroom has a weird cult following who hang on Hearn's every word, Arum and Warren really don't have that.

His resume has two big wins. That's it.

He's fought blown up CW's, always got an excuse not to defend the belts or fight a top challenger, has been a pro for like 13 years and has beat two top guys.

He's made out to have this unbelievable record, but it's got the depth of an espresso.

AJ also beat Wlad. Beaten all the other guys. Doesn't need to be fed tune up after tune up, and if he faces a CW it will be the greatest one to live in Usyk.

Can't stand Arum. Greedy guy who can't make the big fights happen. Hearn is a salesman, Wazza couldn't run a bath.

The MR cult is a joke, as it means we pay for what should be free.

    Yes, I agree.
Although, to be fair, I credit him with a win in the first Wilder fight. So, two (or arguably three) big wins, against two opponents.

Exactly, he doesn't have a great resume, and he's no all-time great.
    I have not argued otherwise.
So I'm unsure what your problem is.

    The other question is .....
If Fury has two "big wins", how many does AJ have ?

That's where we see how consistent and fair and balanced people are.

No one says Fury has an unbelievable record.
People do correctly say he won a couple of impressive upsets, and that his comeback from obesity and lay-off was impressive.

AJ's resume isn't great either. And he was bludgeoned by a blob Ruiz, who wasn't even generally regarded as a top 10 heavyweight at the time.
Just imagine what crap you'd be able to throw at Fury is he lost to a blob who was unranked !
