Definitelty HOF worthy. What holds him back from becoming an ATG is not enough good competition at 160, got avoided by the great ones at the weight, and didn't take risks in his career like going up to 168 to take on challenges like Froch and Ward which would have boosted his legacy.
First fight canelo got walked down. 2nd fight canelo tried to walk ggg down but only ended up getting outboxed.
GGG did better the 2nd time because Canelo fought in a more conducive style to GGG after GGG made a big stink about how Canelo should fight "Mexican Style". The first time GGG was frustrated with how Canelo fought, he'd never fought someone who gave him that kind of high level footwork and big ncounter power punching. The judges robbed GGG? Please, give me a break. If anyone was robbed it was Canelo. The judges were very kind to GGG, two judges giving GGG rounds 3-6. Round 3 most agree was a clear Canelo round, and rounds 4-6 were each razor close and some people gave Canelo some of those rounds. If any one of those rounds went to Canelo, Canelo would have won.
GGG was being graded on a curve the first time, that's how two judges gave him rounds 3-6. Round 3 most fans agree Canelo won, even Lederman gave that round to Canelo lol. But two judges gave that round to GGG. Then those same two judges gave GGG round 4, round 5, AND round 6. Each of those rounds were razor close. So I agree that was horrible judging to give GGG all those rounds. Canelo clearly should have won round 3 on all judges cards and some of rounds 4-6. But GGG was falling behind so the judges were playing catch-up to keep GGG in it and keep it close. It's poor judging. You don't give someone rounds just because they did a little better than the previous rounds. GGG clearly did not deserve to win each round 3-6 and if Canelo won any one of those rounds on those cards Canelo would have won. Canelo was jobbed for not getting credit for rounds 3 and/or 4 by two judges and either round 5 or 6.
Cool story. GGG tried to walk him down but he was reaching on his punches and missing far too many punches to win. Canelo was too slippery, he was making GGG miss with footwork and upper body movement and countering him big time. Canelo landed the bigger more impactful shots in the first match, the more flashy and sweat-spraying punches, was thoroughly schooling him in the early rounds, and came on in the Championship rounds to close the show.
Canelo should had fought vs GGG in Kazahstan or Russia. With russian judges and kazah referee. If he then had won on cards, I did not had doubts. Canelo is suspicious lad.
Haha well I agree with you about Biden. The difference is Canelo actually played by the rules and deserved to win. Biden wasn't lucky, he just had a team that changed all the rules due to Covid extending the deadlines so they could flood the ballot stations with fake ballots in the middle of the night after he lost on Election Day, allowing Biden to overcome substantial deficits in all the key battleground states after the election already should have been called.
Impossible , expecting this specimen not to comment ona GGG or chickenelo thread is like him admitting to being a soft battyboy...cant stand up straight whe a dollar is waved...
Cool, if you're interested in debating the rounds and making your arguments as to why GGG won certain rounds let me know. I'd be happy to go through it round-by-round with you and we can talk about the objectivity behind our scoring.
Don't be a sore loser. I'm not phased by your outbursts. You're very insecure about the beatings Canelo gave GGG and I'm here to remind you what happened and help you learn to accept losing like a man. Unlike GGG who stormed out the ring after he lost like an immature little kid without congratulating the winner like a real sportsman does. When Canelo lost to Mayweather, Canelo didn't storm out of the ring or claim robbery. He didn't make excuses, he accepted the defeat and had the decency to congratulate Mayweather in the ring on a great fight. That's the sign of a true sportsman. Accepting defeat and learning from the loss, and becoming a better fighter as a result. That's what Canelo did and why he turned into the fighter he is now.
I know you're a big GGG guy and this may be hard for you to admit, but you know deep down that Canelo clearly won round 3 and rounds 4-6 could have gone either way. But GGG got all those rounds by 2 judges allowing him to get a draw. Ridiculous GGG catch-up scoring, should have been a clear Canelo win.
