Ivan Dychko seems to be a very promising HW prospect. Sometimes he even draws comparisons to Tyson Fury.

Ivan turned pro a few years ago, hooked up with promoter in South Florida and began to build a record. He has scored KO victories in all of his fights - though he has boxed very poor opposition.

Ivan has not been active since the early summer of 2019. We've been dealing with COVID-19 for more than a year now, but other prospects have stayed active with occasional fights. I haven't even heard of Dychko being a participant in the training camps of other HWs, though. I hear his name being mentioned from time-to-time in the press when "top HW prospects" are mentioned - but with no indication as to what he is doing.

Does anybody know what he is up to or why he seems to have been totally inactive for more than the past year and a half?

Bad promotion and management. He should sign with Hearn.

All I can find out about Dychko's promotion is that he's hooked up with an outfit run by Henry Rivalta. Not exactly a threat to Gold Boy or Matchroom.

I think Eddie is having his own issues at the moment making fights for HWs. Bob Arum only seems to occasionally pay attention to his HW fighters apart from Ruiz Jr. Ryabinsky seems to only want to sign Russian fighters and Dychko is from Kazakhstan. Dimitry Salita is pretty awful at making regular fights for his HWs and nobody wants to work with him after the Jarrell Miller mess. I suppose Lou DiBella needs to a bit of restocking now that Wilder has gone bat*** crazy, Kownacki has lost his zero, and Breazeale has no hope of scoring a title fight. Maybe Lou is the best option?

He's signed numerous Uzbek fighters recently.

That is good to know - even if Ivan does not seem to be among them (yet).
