I would say Ruiz vs Tua: Ruiz became more cautious and held a lot, became champ and even had many championship fights after.

Arreola Klitschko: Chris's first shot at the big times. He is now in contention for a huge hw fight vs Andy Ruiz.

Pac- Morales: PAC tightened his game up and won the rematch.

Lewis Rahman. Never underestimate your opponent making movies and not training.

Leonard Duran: the sugar man was obsessed with being the best, took it to the Wildman the only way he knew how to take it, either on points, or by "no mas"

Douglas Tyson: I don't know if Mike learned a damn thing but he shoulda took it far more seriously, without laying chicks the night before.

I'm sure there are many others , what can you think of? What examples can you give? Not to start a duplicate thread, but props the op for making the "prime vs prime" thread!

    Probably Joshua v Ruiz.
AJ made no silly excuses, or blamed others, he took the rematch, formulated a plan B & won comfortably.

    Hopkins vs Mitchell.
B-Hop didn't fight at LHW for almost 2 decades after that L, going further down in weight from 168 to 160, to become a legend.

An L is an L unless you were held hostage and forced to fight at gunpoint or threatened with Eddie hearn to touch you behind scenes

Yeah, lad really looked nice regards to this. ;)

I might mention Huck vs Cunningham. Young Huck get beat up from Cunningham and still had managed good career after this, turned into tickets seller in Germany, get belt, had a lot normally paid fights in row.
Huck vs Povetkin too: he performed better than had been assumed, didn't had reduced fanbase after this, really opposite: he was more well known after this and interesting for media and promotions.
He had so deeply established name that he managed even to get a title fights vs Briedis after he had been wrecked up by prime Glowacki in U.S, and he wasn't that bad after this.
More than this: after loss vs Briedis in his own ( Huck's ) promotion, he still was enough popular to get fight vs Usyk in Germany for world title.

Despite he definitely isn't ATG he also proved that he does have balls. He fought vs prime Glowacki, prime Briedis and prime Usyk and 32.y.o 225 lbs Povetkin who then was undefeated pro boxer and well known as legit world level amateur superstar.
Huck loved to fight a lot.

On a similar theme, I wonder how Daniel Dubois will take his defeat to Joyce ?
Dubois is very young & was given a lesson by Joyce.
Hopefully, he will learn from his loss, comeback better & more streetwise. Time will tell.

When Jimmy Young got tagged and Ko'ed by Shavers, he didin't make the same mistake against Ron Lyle (twice) or against Foreman.
