I did read. I read that you wrote Marciano was "clever" in how he set up shots. He wasn't. He was wildly inaccurate and swung for the fences even when he was on the inside and missed A LOT. Saying he was more accurate than Wilder isn't saying much.
Wilder may be a bit of an outlier. I don't think he's heavy-handed. I don't think you really feel the force of his punch that much if it's blocked. Unlike say, Foreman. But he has that Tommy Hearns-like build, puts plenty of whip and snap into his punches, and combined with that leverage and those long arms, he's carrying huge power right at the end of the punch. What a shame he has very little of Hearns' ability.
So you're denying that you wrote Rocky was clever in how he applied his punches? Because you did in fact write that and it was more off the mark than most of his punches.
Yeah I saw your original comment in regards to comparing him to wilder. And I wrote that saying he has more finesse than wilder isn't saying much but that apparently flew over your head. Now whose not paying attention? Rocky and clever do not belong in the same sentence. He was about as subtle as a bull in a china shop.
