Were Nigel Benns or Chris Eubanks dad trainers?

We see many fathers influence theirs sons in boxing. Was this the case with Benn or Eubank?

 

No idea but snr regularly posts on here as bulldog24 he will let u know all about this in due course.

 

I would actually love it if Bulldog was Snr. Would also love it if Miniq was Fury.

 

English went to the US as a teenager and was never in a boxing relationship with his dad.
Benn was an army boxer,again dont think his dad had any influence.

 

Aye - Eubank went to live with his mother in New York - as his Dad couldn't cope with him (shoplifting, burglary etc.). I don't think he had boxed before going to the US. I find it ironic that Eubank cultivated a posh, establishment persona when he was initially an unheralded outsider - whereas, Benn had the threatening, "Dark Destroyer" image but, iirc, he had a decent amateur pedigree and was backed / seen as a good bet for a great future from the start of his professional career.

 

Benn had a good, loving, close-knit upbringing.

Eubank was the one from a broken home and nothing.

What was Chris dad name? I know Nigels dad name was Dixon.
