    I didnt watch it but people were telling me beterbiev had no shot. glad smith won but sounds like he didn't look impressive. and beterbievs "unimpressive win"
    was a near shutout knock out win

    smith still has a shot in any fight he's in however.

    And for the record, I scored it for Vlasov by a point, it's just that this IS NOT my first time seeing Vlasov, it's probably the 15th match of his I've watched and scored, so none of this was shocking to me. He's a damn impressive ultra skilled fighter. Many were even picking him for the upset. But I have a feeling a lot of you guys were shocked because you were expecting a blowout, I was not. So therefore you all gave way too much credit to Maxim. Fine you want to say he won, that's fine, but the two scores that Joe won by are not even close to controversial. Like I said before, 4 solid Smith rounds, 3 hard to split ones. Get over it.

    There should have been a point deduction.

    Two, if you count the blatant low blows on the ref's blind side, prior to the double-clubbing rabbit punches.

    There was a procedural error, but the bigger problem was that was several rabbit punches past the ref warning Smith. There should have been a point taken, I wouldn't have hated a 2 point deduction. Smith was pretty out of control with hitting behind the head and Vlasov was a little rough but much cleaner.

    With only the small crowd I'm sure the trainers could have shouted to the neutral corner, I don't think they gave him water or anything so I see no major problem.

    everyone just said smith would win easy and probably nobody knew the guy he was facing.

    joe smith getting out boxed at a point wasn't that surprising again I didn't watch the fight sounds like it was a razor close fight maybe they'll do it again I have a feeling the beterbiev fight isnt next
