My new favourite fighter is Connor Benn

Would u love to see him destroy khan's chin or Brook's eye.

If he hit khans chin it would come flying off and go through someone's TV screen and land in someone's coffee.

    Plop.

He'e being very overrated today, but I've liked him for a while. I've heard him doing commentary for fights on radio, he's alright.
He has a good attitude, I believe he would fight anyone.
Not that he'll be matched with anyone, he'll be protected to some extent certainly.

Calling out a man who's retired and has been badly knocked out several times was bottom feeding. He was on the radio the other week doing the same thing. When David Avenesyan's name came up he couldn't change the subject quickly enough. He's obviously dedicated himself to the sport, but the career path he's been allowed to take is entirely down to his surname. Campbell Hatton the same. Eddie Hearn obviously knows how far a famous dad can get you.

I like watching him but after 18 fights, he really should not be taking the Toe Haye and Bellew trip to Lootsville fighting finished fighters for the loot.

He should be looking at Josh Taylor and taking increasingly difficult fights before challenging for a World Title next year at the latest.

The route he is taking does make one suspect we have another Dullian Whyte here - takes all the loot and his career reel shows he has one World Title Fight and one World Title Belt less than Shannon Courtenay.

He's confident without being arrogant, entertaining all action style, not afraid to get hit and of course he's got that surname to market himself.

Where he goes from here I don't know - The logical fight would be Avanesyan but perhaps that's too big a risk after what happened to Josh Kelly. Don't blame Conor for calling Khan out, that's a big money fight for an easy night's work. Broner isn't a bad idea either, established name only it for the money now and likely another easy night's work.
Josh Kelly fight I can't see Eddie letting that happen, another loss for Kelly and he's done.

Less than 24 hours on from Courtenay becoming a World Champion and Conor Benn's early stoppage of a guy who was 2-3 in his last 5 fights and dropped and stopped in his most recent fight and it's becoming quite unbearable. If you call out inactive, ageing and potentially shot fighters it should be met with derision from all angles.

Nope not on the hype at all. Its going to be a massive fall for Benn. Calling out shot semi retired fighters is ridiculous. Stick him in with a live fighter, Avaneyson is who I want to see him in with.

Hearn will probably look to put Benn Khan on ppv, particularly with Khan being on reality TV but let's it'll make Haye Bellew look like Castillo Corrales

Of course he's impoved but he's virtually the WW version of Anthony Yarde. He'll get found out once someone can actually punch or turns up with a bit of ambition. Wouldn't suprise me if Paulie Malinaggi gets approached for a fight.

I like benn but the names mentioned last night are crazy. His withdrew from a British title purse bid to fight a guy who was known for going 12 rounds with porter (didnt win one) then boxed a guy who's been stopped numerous times yes in good company but has no stand out wins. No chance in hell will hearn put benn in with avi for European title.

I knew the PPV writing was definitely on the wall when Benn, said he wants to retire with a few million in the bank.

He then looked directly at Hearn who looked like an Ethiopean who had just been offered a ticket to an all you can eat buffet.

I don't think Benns a big puncher, I think it's the speed that did Vargas and accuracy that did the damage. He looked fine as soon as the ref waved it off and he looked up.

He also puts everything into his shots and I don't think he can fight going backwards.

As said above, he's effectively going to become the WW version of Yarde but a bit better.

I'd much prefer if he actually fought a few British title operators but it's all and only about the loot.

TBH Benn calling Khan out is a joke he is old and probably shot to pieces now.
Reminded me of Whyte calling Haye out knowing he is also retired and shot to pieces.
Why are people not calling hungary upcoming unbeaten fighters out to try and test themselves instead of taking minimal risk by fighting old guys sat on the sofa for 12+ months.
If Benn really thinks he is going to win a belt at 147 he should be targeting the likes of Avaneyson for the European or fighting the likes of Ennis or Ortiz Jr in Eliminators.
Not looking for PPV loot against shot fighters.
The market and hype around him from the casuals will make him into the next Whyte though 7 ppvs without fighting for so much as a British which at least Whyte has done.
Eddie will be very keen to milk him for Loot while avoiding any risk at all.
Last night was a good proformance but let's be honest Vargas was no killer and judging by previous proformaces Benn is an accident waiting to happen if he fights the likes of Spence or Crawford or Mikey Garcia these guys are light years ahead of what Benn will ever be.

Definitely not my favourite fighter, but impressed me enough that i will watch anytime he fights. Of course, wouldn't pay for the privilege, but would still watch
