WHICH fighters are you turned off by and don't care about? It can be their boxing style, personality, lack of ambition, and more. My pick would be Gilberto Ramirez. This man seems extremely content with keeping his perfect record while fighting nobodies. I can't take him seriously when he "calls out" other fighters. Another would be Demetrius Andrade. He was a tremendous amateur with great pro potential. He was avoided like the plague at 154 and obviously at 160 a bit. My issue? He's self-sabotaged his own career by preventing certain fights. Instead of staying active in the ring, he's content in actively calling out fighters and not trying to make the big fights happen (atleast that's how it seems on the outside).
Canelo, no point watching any of his fights as you know the opponent will get robbed no matter how good he does. Anyone still buying his fights at this point is a fool.
Gary Russet Jr. (useless potatoe) Demetrius Andrade (no one's ducking him, yet he claims it is the case 100% of the time) Shakur Stevenson (tough talker, hits women and civilians, but can't KO them) Leo Santa Cruz
Agree with you on Andrade and Ramirez and would add: Tank mostly due to his poor competition. Canelo whats the point we already know the result. last fight of him that i watched was the second GGG fight.
Fun Fact: Demetrius Andrade hasn’t faced one fighter that has ever held a title. He coulld have fought Austin Trout but he said the money wasn’t right and we obviously know he pulled out of the Jermell Charlo fight. On top of that he refused to fight Korobov and Derevyanchenko because he said he wasn’t given the proper time to train for those fights. Korobov end up fighting Andy Lee who ended up losing the title to BJS. Derevyanchenko ended up fighting Danny Jacobs for the vacant IBF. It’s just very coincidental and convenient that when it’s time to face a top 5 caliber opponent he finds an excuse not to fight. Yet everyone is ducking.
Crawford is one of the dullest human beings in existence. I'm not interested in anything he says or does.
He is fighting Barrios next. I guess Pedraza and LSC were not anyone. They become no one immediately Tank ices them right.
Lets see him against more world level fighters and the elites at 135. We know Ennis wants the world operators like Thurman and Porter. Tank not so much. His best win is an old one legged Gamboa
Demetrius Andrade - colossal waste of suspected (though unconfirmed) talent. Seems to show the mark of a truly-special fighter for as much as 60 seconds at a time - then takes his foot of tfhe gas. Doesn't want to fight anybody but accuses all the others of ducking him. If he ever lay down on a couch for a psychiatrist, he could likely keep him scribbling notes for hours. Chris Colbert - Maybe he's just a victim of poor fight-making...but all three fights of his that I have watched have been boring. I know this kid is talented and he's still young - so maybe there is hope. Caleb Plant - I respect him quite highly as a fighter but he must have gotten a Promise Ring in the mail from De La Hoya because his opponent quality since winning the belt would make Al Haymon blush. Joey Spencer - Fox PBC are talking about this kid as if he is the next Canelo. 18 months ago he very nearly got flattened by a journeyman with less experience than himself and one who was KO'ed in his very next fight. If you are a fan of this kid, you are better suited to being a fan of the Jonas Brothers than a fan of boxing.
