I'd pick Tyson by decision after scoring a couple of knock downs early.

Ali had alot of toughness. He would need it because those early rounds would be rough ones for him. Ali had speed moving side to side floating back hands held low in this one could be ugly. Tyson can match Ali's speed moving in and he has two handed power.
Ali was vulnerable go in close left hooks Tyson had a good one. I'm not sure that Ali can hurt Tyson or get him gunshy the way Douglas did. Tyson's speed and power would be a shock to Ali early. It depends on how much damage Mike does early. He would definitely do some.
Ali would probably come on and do better the second half of the fight but he would be too far behind and not enough left to pull it out.

Liston and Foreman didn't have Tyson's speed.

Not at all. Morons hate being called necrophilic narcoleptics. Which many of us are.

It's been done many times and looking at ability I see why many pick Tyson for obvious reasons.

However to beat Tyson you need fast hands and fast feet, a good lead hand and of course a you need a chin. You also need to be smart and have proven credentials of beating similar fighters.

Liston, Foreman and Frazier all have similarities to Tyson.... Ali beat them all.

Psychologically Ali was definitely tougher than Mike.

The Greatest takes this by decision or maybe even pulls out a late stoppage on a faded and frustrated Mike Tyson.

I can see this somewhat mirroring the FOTC with Tyson giving Ali all he can handle in the early goings , but conceding momentum down the stretch. Tyson didn’t pressure his man with the relentless constancy of a Joe Frazier, and his stamina (mental as well as physical) wasn’t as good. He could also be overly accepting of clinches and wasn’t the greatest inside fighter. I’d expect to see a lot of clinching the first 5-6 rounds, with Ali gradually opening up more and more as the rounds progress.

I'd give Tyson a decent chance of edging a 10 round fight, though.

Blimey ! This one again. Tyson's got nothing for Ali. Muhammad goes to the ropes and picks Mike off with hard, jolting counters, beating him to the punch.
Tyson took being hit back personally. Completely lost the head. And Ali will hit him back. Lots. Hard.
Mickey Duff summed Tyson up perfectly, "He's a bully but he's a good one". Liston was the same, young Foreman too.
Tyson gets knocked out, quits, goes bananas and gets slung out in the 8th. Ali is 10,000 times the man that odious ****** is.

I see the fight resembling Tyson/Biggs, but with Ali coming out on top. Biggs was able to outbox Mike fairly easily (bar the last 30 secs) in the 1st round. I see Ali being able to do this for the full 12 (or 15 depending on the stipulation).
