Williams vs Eubank Jr next, with Andrade at the end of the year would be great

Think Jr absolutely stops Williams and brutally, too much speed

Stick Williams in with this version of GGG or Jermallo and he'll be landing clean with a much higher percentage than he was able to do tonight and neither them are difficult to hit. Sure GGG has that iron chin but he's way past his best and he's much more susceptible to being hurt now than he was in his prime. Jermallo has a decent chin but Korobov was lighting him up all night and Dev hurt him a few times to head and body and neither of them hit anywhere near as hard as Williams. Andrade was just all wrong for Williams stylistically and the ref allowing him to octopus grab him all night when he did get into range made a difficult task a much more difficult one. Maybe they'd stop Williams but he's clearly teak-tough and he would be having a hell of a lot more success landing his bombs with regularity against both than he did against the hideously awkward and rangy Andrade and he would stand a good chance of taking them out too if he caught them right.

Not if the ref lets Andrade tie up everytime they engage.

So, according to you, losing on virtually everybody on the RBR's scorecards except for three, (drawing on two) is now coasting to a win? Jesus Christ, logic and reason plays no part in your thinking does it?

    Yeah?

Hes been trying to get GGG,Charlo, Canelo in the ring for about 5 years and none of them want it, despite him having a title for the majority of that time.

I agree with this and it is why the referee is so important.

But so far as Andrade goes, he's under no obligation; it's a dangerous business.

I always say the same when we have these (Sadly regular) complaints: you push the referee as far as you can and can't be criticised for it. That was good fight, for all Andrade needs the right man to produce one.

I hate watching Andrade fight, it makes me angry. So much talent and skill but too often refusing to go for the kill after hurting opponents and too often looks for a nice cuddle. So so so boring. Wasting his career

yeah I’ve not problem with a bit of clinching say in the last 2 or so round’s when it’s being initiated by both boxers or when one is so clearly winning or is understandably tired or hurt.

but Andrade took the **** in there he was doing it from about round 7 I actually scored the 11th round for Andrade but I still think he should of had a point taken from him. He was either immediately clinching up close or just ducking his head low then baiting Williams into clinching him. It was way to negative.

his gas tank looks real suspicious it’s almost like he threw kitchen sink at Williams early to try get him out there cause he knew he wouldn’t be able to deal with his pressure.

maybe got tooled up in sparing by some pressure fighters or just absolutely tanked the weight.

When you ask for huge paydays and bring nothing to the table but a belt and a reputation that has (until tonight) been predicated on beating up overmatched opponents, people tend to look at you side-eyed.

That was just a combination of sour grapes from the 1st fight and a pack mentality
Some people were just seeing what other posters were saying disregarding Smiths work

On paper the fight was closer but in reality Smith hardly broke a sweat and Andrade was having a fight

Andrade legit seems to want something to happen to prevent him from kicking it up a gear when he had Williams hurt. He wanted that bell, he wanted that clinch, he wanted to go to ground and take his time getting up.

He gets in his own way and approaches Chad Dawsonesque levels of lethargy and apathy.

Be gone from headlining cards. I've had enough.
