Looks that he today is marked as inactive. Most likely now does not have also ranking points? Reason to " reanimate " him?
Wow. Shocker. Given his age, it is hard to see Majidov coming back. As for Fedosov, can't wait to see him fight again in three or four years.
My best friend who’s Armenian was extremely happy. But seriously gutted for Majidov with the injury he was an exciting addition to the division. Always liked Fedosov so let’s hope he doesn’t go missing for another 3 years. Lots of good fights out there for him.
Fedosov has hooked up with a US-based promoter - that seems to specialize in Eurasian gatekeeper boxers. Let's hope they can keep him reasonably-busy. Fedosov has been so inactive, however, that's he's become the very epitome of high-risk/low-reward. You'd need to think back to a time when Stiverne held the WBC belt to recall he was a contender in the division. Nobody wants their fighter stopped by somebody reckoned to be a nobody (however, falsely).
In a result that will likely surprise few...Efetobor Apochi blasted out Deon Nicholson in just 3 rounds. Apparently, Nicholson was quite fortunate to make it out of Round 2. If the absence of surprise for this particular result has left you thirsty for the unanticipated - then perhaps you will be satisfied by learning that Efetobor Apochi has a university graduate degree in microbiology.
Bodgan is one of the most beautiful looking heavyweight boxers I've seen. Moves and punches fluidly but there's something lacking that a more perspicacious person could pick up. I don't know what it is. Maybe he's iron out some chinks and can give Dubois a run for his money but I'm not putting my house on it
Yeh, I've watched some of his fights and can understand where you're coming from. But it's almost a 'timing is everything' thing as far as his boxing career ... like many others, Majidov, now showing up as one of them, making a late run now may be too late. It's hard to know if he's the same fighter now as he was some years back. Actually, with the WBA ranking in play it is a good fight for Dubois, probably a good fight for Dinu to make the most of if he's got a newfound commitment to his boxing.
Yeah Fedosov nailed Majidov with a straight right which knocked Majidov to the canvas and Majidov injured himself as a result. I guess Eddie Hearn will now use Fedosov as a gatekeeper for his HWs now.
I think Farmboxer postedhere once that one of Fedosovs knock outs was one of the most brutal he had ever seen. Long long time ago that was tho.
Ryad Merhy will face Samuel Kadje on May 1st in a non-title bout in Belgium. Expect Merhy vs Dorticos sometime, somewhere later in the year.
