Who wins this one? Also should this be on the Joshua v Fury undercard? I'd like to see something a long this quality on the card to help justify the big price PPV. It'll be worth £40 if we get a fight of this size as well as the main event. Michael Hunter has done a good job trying to make something of himself since going heavy. Povetkin match was a great fight which I thought he won and proved himself, and the fact that he's standing up to a fight like this proves he's got confidence and ambition, while Usyk is stalling on a fight against Joyce.
I'm personally going with Hunter UD. I think he'll outbox him and has already proven himself against tougher opposition.
Styles make fights. We've already seen this match up before. Vitali Klitschko vs (old) Larry Donald. Hrgovics style and his size combined will give Hunter problems and will lead to him winning a UD in my opinion. But if Hunter takes it I'll be impressed as hell and I'll admit i underestimated him
I guess Hrgovic will bomb him out at some point. 12 rounds a long time in a ring with a guy with an advantage of around 3" for height and reach, especially when he a puncher.
The Stoneman by round 8th round sickening KO. In a good fight. There's no way povrtkin can hold hinter to a draw and Hrgovic not beat him. Too big too young too good.
Hunter talks more rubbish than just about anyone in the division. Both overrated, especially Hunter. Both will be found out soon enough.
I think Hrgovic is too much for Hunter. Hunter may be skilled, fast and agile, but he is no David Haye. He won't be able to outbox Hrgovic, sooner or later he will be exposed to Hrgovic's heavy bombs... Hrgovic reminds me of Vitali. All he needs is experience and more accuracy. Then he may reign the heavyweight division for a decade.
Hrgovic will tear his rotator cuff trying to catch the slippery Hunter and quit on his stool. All his fans and those who picked him will whine that he was ahead on all the scorecards at the time of the stoppage.
I suspect that Hrgo will stop him. His failure, Hrgo does hit hard for his weight despite Hrgo really isn't enough tested vs good boxers. If he will land. While I think he will had more problems to properly hit CW Hunter's version and Hunter wasn't bad at CW at all. Okey, failed to win prime Usyk in U.S but this isn't any ground to disrespect guy. This is like Tabiti doesn't gets credit cos he lost vs Dorticos but at least this was damn cool fight. Does boxer have 1 or 2 lost fights in record, for me does not matters much. Hunter I think also had lost fight on my cards vs Povetkin but if he had some 6 months older old Povetkin, I think he had won this one clear and fair.
Hrgovic controls Hunter at range and softens him up. Then steps in and let’s loose. I think Hrgovic puts Hunter to sleep
