Billy Joe Saunders making excuses already not sounding confident

Canelo is going to destroy this guy.

 

Why should there be a British judge. Is the thinking the British judge must side with BJS? Judges are supposed to be neutral. I would suggest either 3 US judges or 3 Judges from different countries but none from Mexico or Britain.

 

Makes sense. Well said. But the other guy has a point about eh can’t a British judge be there.

 

Yeah, OK, fine with that, 3 US judges, but to have a Mexican judge on without a British judge is just not acceptable if one of the fighters are unhappy.

I'm assuming they have to agree on judges, so I'm assuming all this will change.

BJS has also been stiffed a little on the money side, his own fault, his own teams fault, his own negotiators fault.. he accepted less money on the word there would be no fans so therefore no live gate and just less money for everybody.

Now there are fans apparently, what they should have done in my opinion is put in the contract "if fans are allowed back in then the purse goes from ... to ..."

So I understand he is not happy but that's his sides problem.

 

i dont know how billy does every time hearn talks about it he brings up lemieux. that was in 2017 and Saunders hasnt looked that great since.
though Saunders SHOULD have the skills. but displaying master boxer skills in 1 of his last 8 fights is concerning. but the fact is in his one big fight he did bring it.

 

i have no doubt that the best version of billy joe could at least make this a close fight.
but I have a feeling this fight sucks and canelo wins

 

its not difficult, with the right game plan, to look stellar vs lemieux. he is very limited. if you throw a ****** wrench in his plan a, hes got no plan b. canelo has contingency plans for his contingency plans. its bjs thats going to be put in the lemieux role.

yes. lemieux has a pretty left, take that away and you got a heavy bag. canelo has a great left, a great right, and the knowledge and ability to use them in endless variations. just completely different levels.

Billy probably requested it, but I doubt it was agreed upon in the contract. That sounds highly unusual for both sides to agree to which country the judges were from. Usually that is left to the commission to decide.

But wouldn't that be the sort of thing that is frowned upon? A fighter having control over where the judges were from? I mean many Canelo detractors have theorized that Canelo always has a judge in his pocket. Well if Billy is allowed to choose a judge from his country as part of the agreement, then isn't that exactly the sort of thing that you accuse Canelo of doing?
