Billy Jane will do better than Mundane Smith although that's not hard as Smith was completely schooled. I still expect a fairly wide victory for ginger nuts whose educated pressure will take is toll on Billy Jane.

I keep reading Canelo stops him etc etc, what is this based on? Canelo didn't stop smith and smith is a fighter with lack of movement and Canelo pummeled him for 12 rounds and couldnt stop him!!! Also smith only really had 1 arm for most of the fight!!

Bjs will not be there to hit like smith was and bjs has a good chin, he was caught flush on a few occasions by andy lee who without doubt was a harder puncher than Canelo!!

I'm not saying bjs wins but he will make this fight awkward and boring most likely. Anybody who knows boxing knows Canelo is not just going to walk someone like Saunders down.

About the whole "no British judge" thing. In that case there should be no Mexican one either. ALL neutral judges. In fact it should probably have been all neutral judges from the start!

BJS to come out flying, make Canelo miss and look clumsy, while pot shotting against him. Then his Hatton lifestyle catches up with him and he starts to fade.

If they are, BJS should go in there with no care given and make a mockery of them.

He is more than capable of doing that.

He should forget about everything and treat this as his first ever fight ever and just go for it, humiliate the guy.

BJS needs to wear Hughie Fury's skirt against Parker, run away for 12 rounds and declare himself the winner at the end then protest at the robbery.

The fight is far too late for BJS in his career after 3.5 wasted years and he will most likely end up on the floor like Macklin.

With zero chance of a points decision, he should launch a huge attack early in the fight and try to get Canelo out.

Is Alvarez into double figures yet for wins against Brits? He's already beaten two from the same family!

    Just checked, he's on 6

    Matthew Hatton
    Ryan Rhodes
    Amir Khan
    Liam Smith
    Rocky Fielding
    Callum Smith

Absolutely no chance of BJS winning more than 2-3 rounds max. He blew up against Martin Murray ffs and he is about 40

Canelo hss had his share of scandals. He can ill afford another one. A moral victory and Reputational damage to Canelo might be Billy's consolation prize! :).

I think BJS is taking this one a little more seriously than the Martin Murray fight, four month training camp suggests that.

Some of you have already filled out the cards in favor of BJS and will complain about the verdict as long as Saunders is still standing at the end of 12. This works both ways.

Billy Joe is a wonderful boxer at his best however his lifestyle and lack of fight time will surely catch up. Canelo has been so active and obviously lives the life.

BJS will burn out and I see a Canelo stoppage from the 9th onwards.

I'm not so sure about that Jurgen. Canelo isn't a huge one shot puncher and Billy Joe has a great chin. Also as Canelo has moved up in weight he has slowed down his feet a lot. Bjs won't be immobile like the plank was. To put him down Canelo would need to trap him, immobilise him and land multiple shots. Billy Joe ought to be able to avoid this, I think so anyway. I will be very impressed if Canelo stops him.

The one chink in Canelos armor is his stamina. He likes to fight at his pace in the 2nd GGG fight Golvkin really tried to push late in the fight things weren't as crisp as they had been for Alvarez, shots started to land and he looked trouble by some of them.
Problem is I don't think BJS is much better in that department and he can't win on the cards via stoppage.
I see Canelo wining on points in an ugly fight where neither lands huge punches.
