The big Nigerian takes Floyds Spot in his prime and faces Ingo how long does he reign who does he beat? What does his career look like?
I doubt he'd beat Archie Moore or Ingemar Johansson. He'd beat Brian London, Roy Harris, Pete Rademacher, Tommy Jackson and Tom McNeeley though.
Yeah, probably. Peter needed a gift to get past an old Toney the first time, he was outboxed easily by Eddie Chambers too. His best win is an old Oleg Maskaev.
This was Peter against a 6-2, 226 pound opponent who was 41-4, and on a winning streak. Peter looks fast, well schooled, and powerful. Johanson in a time machine brought to 2004 to fight Peter, or Peter in a time machine taken to 1959 to fight IJ...IJ probably wouldn't last 30 seconds with Peter. Peter weighed 247 for this one and he looked quicker than Liston ever looked on video...If Peter, as he was had fought Moore, Patterson, Johanson, Harris, London, etc., he'd dominate, probably all one round knockouts, and he'd be in the conversation for the greatest fighter of all time. I might be misrembering but I thought the first one Toney had the edge and Peter got the decision. Either way, Peter never beat anyone better than an old Toney or an old Maskaev.
Peter would’ve been a problem back then, but he’d likely turn into a cocky fat **** at some point and drop a decision bc of it. Liston would murder him.
