Big Grandaddy Browne just stopped by old ex Rugby Player in Round 1

I heard Browne drunk a 18 can crate of fosters before he got in the ring to fight that ferocious rugby player.

 

Looks more like a stella man to me

 

In what world is he fat? Also it wasnt a dive

Lucas Browne is 42 and hasn't fought in over a year.

That looked fake as **** mate, sorry, especially the first KD. I've been watching boxing a long time and I've never seen a KD like that before - Brown looked fine then landed flat on his back. Add in the twitter video a few posts up on this page with Browne's corner telling him to stay down - Fake as **** the lot of it.

 

I just watched the Browne Towers fight for the first time since around 2013.

My god.... Towers (real name Hayles)... he was absolutely awful. Flicking out a jab and was so gun shy on the right hand it was almost comical. He got a right hand off through the guard of Browne in the third round and followed it up with absolutely nothing except a weird looking Tin Man dance thing that I've seen David Price do on the odd occasion.

Then the Towering Inferno (one of my favourite films) got chucked over the ropes in the forth and battered. He did a funny Joshua-esque dance after but that's the closest he gets to Joshua. Nick Halling put it as "a drunk navigating on a gale forced wind". Much worse than I remember him.

Forgot he was in prison for a decade for torturing a guy over several days with a couple of others.

 

Was actually looking for odds on on the gallen ko, brown is a typical juice head who’s been popped and deflated, but the mirage he was ever world level is a myth , fat daniel Cormier stopped brown years before he was a boxer , think it was the rudenko fight on boxbation years ago he was exposed when Hatton promoted him , and he was as also dropped by kamil sokolowski in his fight before David Allen off the juice and older plus a dave Allen ko victim , both Browne and gallen were chucking the drug slurs about pre fight , peptide Paul , and gallen said Browne was a flat out junkie , both looked right lol as bad as that fall looks I think he’s just useless

 

Blatant dive

 

The thing is with Australian boxing is that the fans over there absolutely love the soap opera side of things. Every fight they have is a grudge match - at least in the UK and USA the proper grudge matches are mixed in with a couple of lads shaking hands and not going in on that side of things.

That’s why characters such as Anthony Mundine and Danny Green have all made good money boxing over there - because they were / are gobby *******s that talked up good fights. The money is clearly there with PPV and ticket buys - promoters can just build up to the next big one.

 

Totally agree their promotion is so OTT and cringeworthy. Their commentators make Adam Smith sound level headed.
